Could be either, I have no clue. I have been searching for an instrument which makes this sound for a while now. I'm starting to believe it maybe software changed violin sounds.

Could be a violin, viola, or cello. Less likely a Sihu or Erhu. Why do you need to know? Like the sound or researching something?
