I hope this goes here.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a good ecchi/fanservice anime. I would like something with an interesting plot and that's funny.

Also, I don't want blatant "in yo face" fanservice. Something that does have fanservice, but it builds it up slowly so when it actually happens, it feels like a good payoff. You know like "wow, finally I get to see this chick naked /in her panties"

Maybe I'm asking a bit too much but if you have something somewhat like this, I'd really appreciate it.

And yes, I know how much of a loser I am. No need to remind me.

You shouldn't think you're a loser for wanting something with story, or for preferring softcore to hardcore. Large non-vocal minorities of this site would agree with you on at least one of those points.

Most things that are considered ecchi are going to be pretty overt about it (like Queens Blade), so I'm going to suggest titles that most people would consider fairly mainstream, comedy titles that get a bit risque. Whether or not they meet your standards on being interesting, that's going to be a gamble.

Mahoromatic, any of the Tenchi series (Barbie doll nudity, if I remember correctly), Photon, DearS, Prison School, Dagashi Kashi. Basquash, Gravion, and Keijo are probably too overt, but I'll mention them anyway.
