Alright, as i said before, Charismatic it is. (sorry >>320218 ), And it we'll be a Women! (well more a little girl for the moment ^^).

So Sine, she's a little girl, who just got accepted as an Apprentice by Sagacitas a Magus, he's quite reclusive, or at least of very few words, and most of the time He scared Her just by being around.
Together after a month of travel they arrived at a Manor , a bit decrepited, with a village a few minutes away.
They are a few servant inside the Manor, but nobody else.
Her Master tell her that for the Next Season she'll have to undergo what he call "The Opening of the Gift", and that it'll keep both of them busy, but she's free to roam around every Sunday.

ah yeah forgot to mention, We are in the Kingdom of Hungary, in a part of modern day Romania; so it's Catholic; but hey, Sine is a blank slate for that matter. (if they are any question regarding thing you think she should know , just ask)

Well she's charismatic so she would want to talk to people. So every sunday she talks and builds relationships with the servants inside the manor and the people in the village. Eventually she builds a network of contacts and people that trust her and vice-versa

During the next few Month Sine go around the village, getting to know the layout, and the villager, she become rapidly acquainted with everybody.
From time to time she's asked who she is, since the village isn't that big and a cute and outspoken girl like her would be remembered, and when she tell she's from the Manor, everybody seems a bit worried and ask if everythings well and if "Lord Orbus" treat her well.
Which he does from her point of view.
After the first month she have made a friend ,Olenna, the daugther of a Peddler who supply most of the village with what it lack, and is half of the time away.
The Servant of the Manor are really kind to her too, and call her "Young Mistress".they are 7 of them.

Also at the end of the Season her magic Power finaly take shape, it has been quite tiresome spending 10hour everyday in the "Laboratory" of her master in weird ritual. But she can finally do genuine Magic like igniting a candle from afar, but its exhausting

We are now at the begining of Spring.

During one of her last Free Time of the Season, her Master come to ask her: " Now that your Gift have been opened, it you'll have to choose what Magic you whish to learn, i know a bit of everything, and my Library can help if i can't teach you something."

We will control the courts and turn our foes to glubbering sacks of bone and flesh. And pulverize them if need be. These 3 provide utility, offense, and defense in great and equal measure, depending how you use them.

Sine stated her wishes to her Master : As a Main Art she would learn Body Magic, in Addition of Air and Raw Magic, and dabble a bit in Illusion Magic.
And so She starded her packed schedule of apprentice, A couple of hour each day were spend assisting her Master in his laboratory.
Another couple he would teach her directly Body Magic(move on! nothing sexual here) .
And for the rest of the day she would have one of the Servant, Corneli the Steward, teach her how to read, right and speak Latin. who was the language in which all of her master book regarding magic were wrote.

Afterward she would go in the village playing with her friend, at the border of the village, near the forest where Fae supposedly lived.


Start of the Summer. The village is calm, nothing of note happened but The Master secluded himself for an dangerous experiment, and he doesn't want to be disturbed, leaving Sine with more free time temporarly.

What exactly is body magic and what does that do?
Also spend the summer playing with Olenna and get more acquainted with her father the Peddler. As the summer goes on, Sine realizes that something is a little off and quite odd about him...

Body Magic: can be used for Offense by maiming, can in extreme case Obliterate its target , but only work against Humanoïde.
Its also the Only type of magic capable of healing Humanoïde.
Can also be used for improving physical capacity.

Illusion Magic: Can be used for Creating "Image" (i.e false sensory information) ,be it Visual, Auditive, Taste, Smell, or Touch, but cant Make Real change, (Illusiory Fire feel hot, and can be painful, but it cant ignite stuff)

Illusion Part2: Can also alter already existing image, to change its apparance, or be invisible

Air Magic: Used to affect Gases, (be it simple air, or toxic one), Can be used to Manipulate Meteorlogical Effect(Storm, Lightning,Wind)

Depends on how quick one can cast. If its ritual or has a low chance of succes with improvisation then martial training would go well, especially with physical augmentation

So about Incantation time; it depend of the type of spell, if Improvised(like you need have good knowledge on air magic, but dont prepared a spell who can redirect arrow in the fly, but hey you need to right now caus' there's a fucking arrow coming at you!) it take between 1 and 5 second (it depend on a roll); if the spell is Learned (you've spend time in laboratory to learn it) it take 5 second by default, but it decrease with training; and finaly Ritual (who are like Uber learned spell which require magic ressouce de cast) take at least 1 hour(and often more)

During the summer worried bout those rumor of Fae around the village, Sine don't shy away from her training, but her Physical exercise(which she do alone, since she don't know who to ask for some help there)) consist more of running than anything else, She also spend some time in the library searching for some spell that coul help her if need be, but her search are tedious since she take 10 minute just reading the title of the book(she is not fluent in latin yet).
the attitude of Sine seems to worry Olenna a bit, but they play together nonetheless, her father is rarely seen, but something doesn't add up, if they are Fae in the Forest, how can he move in and out of the village at will? since the road outside pass directly through the Forest?

The Change in attitude of Sine is noticed by the servants and reported to her Master, at the end of the season he ask if she desire a Master at Arm? to train with weapon, He warn her that it will slow her other training , but if it could be of help later in her life.

During Autumn the village is rather calm, Sine got back to help her Master in his laboratory, after a month her Master at Arm arrived in the Manor, her Master recruited from outside, he made a Weird expression when he saw that his student Was a 10 y/o Cute Girl, but he started his Work anyway. Sine isn't a really gifted student of the Martial Disciplin, but she's still eager to learn it.
Every evening you go to Olenna's House with a book about local folklore and try to read it together, it's slow but she's happy to learn to read with you.

Winter come, Sine is near 11 y/o, A visitor come at the Manor, a Beautiful Lady, with a Wierd Red dress and cap. She's supposed to stay for a month.

The Winter is harsh, not enough to cause death, but the woodcutter have extra work to do. Sine ask to her Master Who the Red cloaked women is.
"She's a Red Cap, they are person at the service of magus, Some sort of expert courier supplemented with Enchanted Object to assist her in her work. it's better to have them on their good side since they are quite valuable."

By stalking her a bit around the manor during Sine free time , She gather a bit of clue regarding her, she doesn't seem to be able to speak Slavic. she only interact with your master by speaking in Latin. she's also quite carefree , not bothering with many thing around her and enjoying her time before departing one month after with a package in her hand.

Sine training go smoothly even if the cold outside make Martial training more intense, but Thadé(your master at arm) Say it's for the best.


A Year has passed since Sine started your Apprenticeship, Everythings going to be calm for quite some time.

Another Year passsed, Sine is 12 now, Her study in Magic start to make a bit of sense, she didn't learn any proper Formulaic spell for now, but she can cast any Low level Body magic by improvising it. nothing powerful, but she can stop scrath from bleeding, or make someone dizzy for a moment, quite handy to help, or play harmless trick. She can read easily now, and do Arithmetic too, but Latin is still out of her reach, probably a few more year of casual practice to be able to study book in it. And finaly a Weapon is no longer a big knife in her hand, even if she can't duel a master she know how to dodge and attack simple people if need be, but she hope she won't need to.
She continued to go reguraly at the village, Everybody love her there and she feel at home when walking through the street and everybody salute her.

She also now finaly learned the meaning of her name in Latin : Nameless. She asked to her master about it, he replied "An apprentice Name isn't important, i could call you "Girl" for that matter, When you'll become a full fledged Maga, you will be able to choose what name you want to be called"

She Now Currently study : Latin, Body Magic, Air Magic, Raw Magic, Illusion Magic, Sword Fighting, Magic Theory(by assisting her Master), and Charm(through socializing)

Begining of the Winter Sine see a young boy, skin color of milk, and Azure eye, at the edge of the forest looking strait at her thourgh the window of her bedroom while she was studying in the morning. but he go away before she could open the window to ask who he was.

The Master statement about the young boy:
"Striking White Skin and Blue eye? probably a Fae trying to lure you out, they generaly mean no harm to child, but that doesn't mean they can't do some without noticing, they love imaginative kid, especially thos with magic power, they can feed on just being around you, isn't detrimental to you, but they can be really clingy, if Fae strike your interesset, i have a book about them, but its in Latin"

During the Winter she go at the edge of the forest from time to time, and she hear child laughter form afar, she flee everytime, and bring her wooden sword when she go outside the manor.

Start of Spring, a few newcomer settled in the village, mostly farmer and their family, Olenna seems to have a crush on one of the young boy who came too. None of them catch the eye of Sine, but a lot of boy start to eye her from far and only the most daring stay when she walk nearby.

Spring end, Summer start. Sine mostly stay away from the boy in her free time, and spend time with Olenna. During this time she also start to showoff her magic power to Olenna, and use it subtly to make a few boy fall randomly asleep from afar when the least likely.

Sine start to feel a slowing in her progress of Body Magic. At the end of one of her lesson she ask her Master why.
"Well you've probably reached the first magnitude of mastery in the Body Art"(an Art is what he call a a type of magic)"You're still learning as fast as before, it's just that you need to learn more to get greater result. but you can get around it a bit by studying the other part of a Magic Spell. The magic you study are called Form. They are ten of them, and they correspond to a part of the world. but there is also 5 other Magic called Technique that partein to How you manipulate those part of the world, every spell is a combination of Those 5 Technique, and 10 Form for a total of 50 Different Magic. with broad category existing."

Sine Master can teach her about one or more of those Technique, if she learn all of them at the same time she'll be able to cast any type of spell of a Form with the same proeficency. if she learn less she'll become more specialized (for exemple Become good at Healing wound if she study only Creation, but fall behind if she try to Inflict wound , because she's less proeficient with Destruction.)

Summer was quite lively at the village, The Master made a Feast at the end of the Harvest for the whole village. Sine think he did it to get on the good side of the villager, he's been Lord for 10 year now but the village is still warry of him, probably because he's a Magus, at least that's what Sine think.

Sine schedul was full with all those new topic to study and rarely got outside because of it, and when her lesson was over she stayed inside to try to read "Fae Regnum" , the book her master have abour Fae, due to a really complicated vocabulary she didn't make any substantial discovery, but at least she could search for a single topic inside.

Her study slowed down on the whole with the addition of 3 secondary topic, air and raw magic got a lot hampered, but body magic stayed as a primary topic.

Fall saw the death of one of the Manor Servant, the Cook (He was call Fredriech) due to an explosion coming from the Master Laboratory, caused by a dangerous experiment, Sine wasn't there at this moment. a great part of the Manor was damaged too. thanksfully no fire spread througout the Manor. the Master sent another servant search outside the village for a new cook.Sine shed a few tear, he never refused any request even in the middle of the night, always with a kind smile on his face.

Study go on without disturbance, Olenna can now read on her own text in Slavic, but she don't have the dedication to learn Latin.Apart from that they now spend every single free time they have together.

Sine spend some time searching for solution against Fae, She find out that All fae have at least one Bane or Ward that can help against them, problem is that it depend of the species of Fae, and even sometime can be specific to an idividual. They are Bane that are more common than other, most notably Pure Iron, Religious Symbol, Knowing the Fae True Name. those Bane have a wide range of effect, they can simply cause pain to the Fae, completly destroy them or simply render all of their power inefective.
By observing the outer appearence of a Fae one should be able to tell his bane, but it require extensive knowledge.

Sine Master tell her at the end of the season that she have reached a level where she could be able to learn Formulaic Spell for Body Magic. and Offer her to learn Three spell during the next year instead of simply progressing in Body Magic.(Formulaic spell are roughly two time stronger than Spontaneous spell, and are far less Tiring to use)

if Sine should learn Spell, instead of accumulating knowledge on Body Magic this year pick three spell in the following list:

-Quickened Recovery(improve chance of recovery from a disease or wound)
-Bind Wound(Stop a wound from worsening ad bleeding, but also stop it from recovering for a day)

-Curse of Shrinking(Reduce the size of the target to that of a Baby,(can be self cast))
-Thick Skin(Increase the Caster resistance to damage for a couple of minute)

-Painful Chant(Cause debilitating pain to the target)
-Maiming hand(Inflict a Light Wond on the target, but require contact to cast)

End of Winter, Sine is nearly done learning her First Formulaic Spell:Bind Wound, the Chant and Gesture are indeed of great help to summon better effect, but they have to be finely tuned to the caster and the process is long.

A new cook came in the Manor, a young men named Sophius, he was eager to start working, but he speak way too much, Sine try to avoid him or he'll start to talk non-stop with her.
She wanted to learn how to cook, so she had to find someone else, when she talked about it with Olenna, she proposed to learn with her Mother. Sine like the idea so they went to ask to Olenna's Mother.
Her Mother was surprised by the request but didn't refused it, but wondered why a the Young Lady would want to learn cooking.

Sine reached 13 years old, and Olenna 12(she roughly a year younger) and they both have notably bloomed, although a bit late.other change happened, Sine was the most startled of the two, and even tried to use some of her healing magic on her, but nothing could help what happened, in the end she asked Olenna and Olenna's Mother, and got more information on what was happening.
Olenna's Mother visited the Manor later the day Sine talked with her. One of the Maid later had a few Conversation with Sine on that topic.

Latin is Already progressing, faster than the secondary magic topic but slower than the primary topic, at this rate Sine will be able to use Latin in her study in 10 year, it's not slow, but if change want to be felt fast, concentrating on very few topic at a time (around 4), might be a better idea

During Spring Sine finalized her learning of Bind Wound, and started to learn Thick Skin.

Sine don't find any map of the surrounding area,(but her knowledge about it are summed up in the nearby image).

Summer pass, Sine have learned the spell Thick Skin. and started to learn the last of the Three, Maiming Hand.

She aslso stoped her tutoring on Sword fighting as she reached (coincidently) the level of Swordsmanship of a Young Knight. She parted with her master at Arms after a last Fight where she used both her magic and sword to defeat him.

This triggered a growth in her Gift
Sine will acquire a new Virtue who will improve her use of Magic, choose One of the following:
>Deft Body (Sine no longer have any penalty when not using Chant or Gesture to Cast Body Magic Spell)
>Subtle Magic (Sine no longer have any penalty when not using Gesture to Cast Any Magic Spell)
>Fast Caster (Sine has increased Initiative in Combat to cast Any Spell).

Sine Master was surprised when while learning her last Body Spell: Maiming Hand , she showed no need to Chant or Gesture to use it at full potency. but he stated : "Well it's by no mean rare to have this ability, but every Gifted individual has its own quirk. For exemple my magic is long lasting compared to the average magus. you'll surely pick up a few more of those until your gift is fully formed. but i have to tell you something you might have not noticed, the greatest asset your Gift has is its lack of obviousness, you see Most people who posses the Gift have a sort of Air around them that make common folk wary , or sometime straight scared. but you don't, your Gift is Subtle, quite handy when interacting."

Later that season Sine had a breakthrough in Magic Theory, and rather than being a Hindrance in her Master Laboratory she started to be more and more helpful as her comprehension rised.

Sine reached 14. The time Spend with Olenna is still the same, but a few boys started to become really invasive. Her Appearence made it hard to not stand out . Since a few week ago her appointed Maid insist on her wearing increasingly beautiful dresses , Stating "It would be a waste of your Majesty to wear plain robe". The villager where mostly awe struck when she for the first time came with one such Robe at the village, and even a few of them kneeled before realising it was the Young Mistress of the Manor they knew . A lot of them started praising her afterward. Sine was quite at loss from the scene but it wasn't that unpleasent. Olenna was a bit surprised at first but when Sine started to act as if nothing changed she resumed to her usual demeanor, but her Mother grew a bit distant, and ever so slightly more respectful.

Sine reached an Age where her previous penalty on her stat vanished, she now use her Full Presence and Communication (the two caracteristic related to social interaction), and her previously hidden Virtue Piercing Gaze (which grant a bonus to coerce other when looking at them) now show up too(Yup she's REALLY Charismatic)

The Lack of change in attitude compared to her appearance help most of the villager to feel at ease again, and after a few days Sine even if more noticeable than before, stoped seems like a Lady visiting her Peasent. But a subtle change in her attitude appeared, As before she would react equaly to any villager coming to greet her, she now seem to act as if she was close to some Women who approached her, as if lacking a notion of personal space, and returning any compliment. She also bringed a few gift to some of them, and Olenna was the one who received the most.

As Sine also resumed her Study of Body Magic with her Master, he announced her that they would , together at the end of the year, go at a Gathering of Magus, apparently it happen every 7 year, and even if the Event isn't mandatory, its here that they discuss any issue between Magus. It is a good place to form Friendship and Alliance.

So , i'm going to make a bit of change regarding Working time Action, now instead of simply stating what is studied to varying obscure level, and sometime had to give fraction of XP, there will be 8 Slot, each representing an Experience point (so 8 XP per season, it was also how much i granted before, just didn't say it), A single study can be assigne to multiple Slot, no need to write the whole list at every season , just stated what change of slot is wanted.

Winter ended, Spring start, Sine received a few Declaration from some Boys. she didn't reply to any of them for now, but she saw Olenna crying when one of the boys approached you, it seem he was the one she liked.

After a Lengthy conversation with Olenna, where she states that she will nerver have as much as Sine because she'll become a Maga, Sine talk to her about Red Cap, how she could become one, Rise above the common folk, acquire Exotic knowledge and Magical Artefact. Olenna agree to try it, the following day Sine talk about it with her Master.
