Since you're new to these parts maybe whoever you're looking for is down there. Also why not stop by one of the many Food Plant locations in Inner Dome City?

The cashier points you in the direction of the city center.

Making your way there you run into a problem. There is a giant hole cutting off the street. In front of the hole looks like another dimensional traveller.

"Lo, traveller." She says. "Are you trying to get to that big tower as well? You may want to try a different route. It appears some travelers have been fighting here causing a rupture bubble up ahead. Probably not a good idea to go in but you can do as you please."

Rupture Bubbles are places where dimensions have been collided and warped to extremes usually caused by a traveller who doesn't know what he's doing or by two or more travellers stressing the fabric by fighting. It's kind of like a smaller world. You can go in or find a way around.

Offer for tge traveler to jin you on your journey. Open a hole in the floor leading to the other side of the city, step through

You compress the space between you and the tower into a few inches allowing you to easily bypass most of the city and get to the center. You are now at the tower and creatures are bustling to and fro.You can hear the sound of the massive elevator from outside. But something seems wrong. The creatures are not going about their days, they are in panic.

Bend the space from the floor to the tops of sky scrapers so it's like 1 step, step up and get a good vantage point
