I use the pornboards but like others say they really are useless. Ultimately if I want live action porn, I can go to pornhub and Xhamster rather than /gif/, /h/ discussions regarding hentai are abysmal and I can just browse Pixiv and sadpanda for pics, especially since most of the porn game discussion is made on /vg/ anyway.

You wouldn't believe all the porn threads we had. They usually got deleted within half an hour, but the mods have to sleep sometime. I browse /d/ every single day, and I have used that board since I first came here in late 2005. If you removed that board, I feel like you'd be destroying a piece of 4chan history. Furthermore boards like /d/ doesn't even get that much traffic, so it's removal would have almost no impact.

The real offender is /gif/, which posts little snippets of porn in the form of .webm files. I've never understood the point of that... why not just link the whole video? NSFW greentext is SFW. Blue boards are meant to be free of porn images, hence the name: safe for work; as in, if someone sees your screen while you're browsing at work, you won't get reported.
