I don't think you really need those.
From what little I've seen most of these kinds of threads encourage funposting, hence why "meta" threads tend to be discouraged as a whole.

I believe Hiroyuki made some posts on boards coming up with a "consensus" on how to improve the overall quality but ironically enough these threads are a perfect example of why you shouldn't ask in the first place.
