/vg/ is a contest to see who can spit the furthest and fastest. Easily one of the worst userbases on the entire website. /vg/ users are the worst users on /v/, so if you think about it, /vg/ is a large part of why /v/ is so bad. Even when there are things to talk about, no matter what the board or topic is, generals always seem to attract the absolute worst and dumbest of a fanbase.

It's not too surprising... /pol/, /v/, and /b/ are the big powerhouses (/b/ and /v/ have both been huge for a long time) that bring the majority of new users in. /vg/ and /int/ cover a LOT of bases so they're bound to be incredibly populated. I'm surprised /tv/ is as high up as it is but at the same time I don't go there whatsoever so maybe its population isn't surprising.

There is still a pretty large difference in post rates between /a/ and /r9k/ though so it is still on another level compared to the rest of the site.
