There are two kind of thinking models when doing routines: the procedural way and the functional way.
In the procedural way you are stucked in an seemingly endless loop and check the progress frequently hoping the condition meet and the torture ends sooner. You are just doing the same things over and over and will get bored quickly.
In the functional way the routine becomes something you can delve into. After you doing that thing you start exploring the routine deeper and deeper, and when you reach the end point you will have the greatest feel of achievement.
Why don't you start thinking functionally, /qa/?
not really. no
