I have the same problem. /a/ is filled of 3D blogshit about fapping and other sexual experiences, but those posts go completely unnoticed. I try to have a little bit of fun with a joke and it's an insta-ban. It's honestly better to not post at all with how ass-backwards some of the moderation is. at least getting banned on /qa/ is an accomplishment since you can literally dump loli porn without consequence.

Let's say you had a gun, and you were allowed to shoot anyone you wanted without consequence, for any reason you so choosed, and that person would only be dead for 3 days. Mods don't actually know what they're doing. I'd say the vast majority are as clueless your average poster, not know why or how things work, or why everyone on 4chan ends up miserable. They enforce their own source of disappointment, not understanding where they took a wrong turn.

That's bound to happen with so few mods. It's impossible for someone to know every detail. That's where janitors come in, but then they're probably told to keep their reports to mods minimal, because there aren't enough mods to delete all that needs to be deleted. It's a mess even when you don't take into account the ban evaders.

plus the mods don't even know what's a comic or a cartoon since they aren't into those mediums, so they ban people for threads about things from comics and cartoons purely because they don't recognize them and can't be bothered to use google
