This is a point that needs addressing, not so much for the OP of this thread who clearly got lost on his way to IRC, but for regular /qa/ users. The best response a board can have to a shitty thread is for everyone to ignore the OP. He will get bored and go away. Anything else is suboptimal. Even if you sage. Even if you spam the thread so it becomes unusable. You have responded to the OP, and given him a reaction to look forward to when posting his future threads, which is often all he wants. A bait thread full of spam is better than a bait thread full of serious replies, and a bait thread full of saged serious replies is better than a bait thread that everyone bumps, but neither are better than a thread empty other than the OP and however many his pathetic self-bumps he does before he gets lost.
