I don't expect anyone here to actually help me, but here it goes.

I have shit programming knowledge, and I'm trying to write a script for a personal project. I started by just using an excel macro, but that evidently wasn't the best idea. The script is supposed to generate a list of random numbers, and then count the number of specific characters, lets say 0, in that string of numbers.
Essentially like rolling on 4chan and having those rolls mean something, i.e. risk threads on /bant/

Do any of you have any knowledge on programming?
If so, what language/code should I be using?
I'm sorry if I'm a little incompetent, I just recently started attempting to code.
