Well OP, as an American with no experience with Japan aside from anime material I'd say Japanese Christmases are like how your vide shows.

Have you really not played any Japanese games or watched any anime where Christmas was mentioned? It's like Valentine's Day over there for the most part. I think there are some Japanese Christians that celebrate it in a way similar to the rest of the world, but they're a very small minority.
