Honestly I'd rather just go on /tv/ and make infographs about how liking a TV show makes you an outsider/not part of the in group

well that sounds pretty dumb and gay but lol whatever floats your goat
When did this "reddit spacing" nonsense start anyway?
I've been doing it for the sake of readability on long-winded posts as long as I've been here, and I've been around this god forsaken site longer than anybody has any just reason to.
No reason to do it on short posts, though - at that point it's just fluffing the volume of your insignificant shitpost.

It just makes you look like a pretentious cunt, there's literally no post that becomes amazingly readable by putting extra spaces in it, i can read a fucking post if it didn't even have punctuation. It's just a way of calling out people for putting in extra effort where it's not needed, and then berrating them for it and then continuing the joke because instead of them realizing what the ruse is, they instead took it very seriously and defended their precious spacing which essentially confirmed that they're pretentious douchebags which is basically what everyone thinks of redditors so it makes a lot of sense to call it reddit spacing, and now you know

I maintain that spacing is useful formatting when writing a long post, especially a technical one. Just because you can still read it, doesn't mean it isn't eye rape.
I think it's justified once you get into paragraphs instead of sentences.
