Do you like this site?
http://lingclub.mycpanel.princeton.edu/challenge/puzzles.php ?
It's a series of puzzles designed to determine the patterns used in language.
Maybe it's of interest to some people.
Pretty nice, thanks for sharing.
Got through to the aztec challenge and now tired. I assumed that I go the kurdish puzzle right though as I couldn't find the answers to the pdf.
Interesting website.
Not bad. Just completed Samoan puzzle in 7 minutes. Interesting language.

Yeh, you could just post your answers here and hope someone challenges your answers,
Orkhono-Yeniseyan
Qaghan baliqigh alti. - The king conquered the city.
Men barqigh buzdim. - I destroyed the house.
The son conquered your city. - Oghul baliqingin alti.
The king betrayed the vassal. - Qaghan bazigh yangilti.
Your vassal destroyed my house. - Bazing barqimin buzdi.
Yeh, I like these kind of threads. Might try to do more things like this I guess.
Wanting to see if anyone else got different answers for the kurdish puzzle.

"Qaghan baliqigh alti." translates to "The king conquered the city."
"Men barqigh buzdim" seems to be something about destroyed the house, I am not sure how "Men" is supposed to translate and I do not see how you got "I".
"The son conquered your city." translates to "Oghuli baliqingin alti." I am uncertain of my conjugation of "son", as I don't know if "oghul" or "oghuli" is the base word for "son". Looking at "baz" it seems that the "-i" shouldn't be present in the base word, though.
"The king betrayed the vassal." translates to "Qaghan bazigh yangilti."
"Your vassal destroyed my house." translates to "Bazing barqimin buzdi."

>I am not sure how "Men" is supposed to translate and I do not see how you got "I".
You should have observed that the verb conforms with the subject. It adds -ingiz for second person plural and -imiz for first person plural, and the same pattern applies to how nouns change based on their 'owner'. Since -im means 'my' when appending to a noun, the same logic applies to verb, hence the subject 'men' means 'I'.
>Looking at "baz" it seems that the "-i" shouldn't be present in the base word, though.
I guess that is the case.
>no basq
wtf!

I didn't really catch onto that pattern of conjugation until later in the puzzle; I really should have gone back over the second one. Oh well, thanks for the advice.
