Why doesn't /tv/ have a general board? Its way more in need

Nobody cares about /tv/.

/tv/ is one of the biggest boards as you've said but the culture on the board is somewhat different from the rest of the site, I think that it doesn't get as much attention from the staff as other boards. It's not as overtly influential either.

Overtly, I said. /tv/ is fun but most people know the site and most people's first experience with the site is /v/, /a/, /b/, or even /pol/ now. Also, maybe because that a lot of /tv/'s content is distinctly western while the rest of the site has a lot of eastfags
