It was created for moot's final Q&A. A few months later it started to turn into /q/ 2.0 which sucked, but it wasn't that bad. It wasn't until April when /mlpol/ was created that really drove this place into the shitter, people spammed it so hard that it was unrecognizable, which caused the /q/ueers to flood the mods' report queue until they just froze the board because they were so fed up with it. Ever since then the board was been a mix of /q/ garbage and /a/'s garbage template threads, so the /qa/ name is pretty fitting.
