/v/ mods have a stick up their asses because literally everyone on /v/ has a proxy so they just 3 day ban you globally.
2012 /v/ mods were so touchy. Literal escalation occurred.

a month long ban is a permaban
you only get handed one of those if you are a known ban evader that has a dynamic ip. it's still a permaban, but it's rather uniethical to low key ban the whole range for just one dude, so they make the bans one month long.
if you have a static ip or broke GR1, you get handed a normal permaban,
t. i ask the mods the same questions and they sometimes answer instead of telling me to fuck off
mind that mod doctrine is not universals and different mods have differents methods of moderation.

A month long ban is not a permaban.

you can perfectly get banned for one month if the mod deems it a proper punishment, but the great majority of month long bans are dynamic ip permabans.
check the ban page from time to time and you'll see a handfull of consecutive 30 day long bans from serial ban evaders
