None of my friends are remotely interested in the genre, and it seems like every single person online is either playing the game for the very first time and just mashing buttons, or a veteran who has been playing fighting games non-stop every day since the release of Street Fighter 2. Neither of those matchups is fun or informative.

There aren't many games in the genre I'm interested in anyway, so it isn't a big deal. I accepted that I will forever be terrible at them long ago.

That 2.5D stuff is magical.
