It's not one guy. Because on some boards he says "Die you degenerate Barneyfag" and on other ones he says "Die you fucking Barneyfag." If it were one guy it'd probably be more consistent. Anyway, the bronies have a website, Derpi something I believe, with some very convenient tools such as tags and reverse image search that allow one to find basically any suspect image in a matter of minutes. That's what Lee and his cronies do all day.

There's two freaks in a symbiotic relationship.
The first one is obvious- barneyfag.
The second one is a guy that regularly talks to barneyfag via email (and possibly elsewhere) and shares knowledge of the "hidden" pony images along with archived threads so it can trigger a response when it shows up. Both are /mlp/ regulars and neither of them like the show.
They are both mentally ill and there is no benefit to attempting to discourage them as human reason has no effect on them. As is generally the case, the people that become obsessed with the "lolcow" (as they call people like barneyfag) become one as well.
There's also people that just post pony images, but they're just normal bored kids wanting to get a response from him.
