I used to take 30 mg of zyprexa a day, it was horrible it turned me into a literal vegetable. I stopped it. Ended up back in the hospital and was put on latuda, which was better than zyprexa but still bad enough that I ended up going off of it too.

In the past I've spent long periods of time on lithium only and remained relatively functional, I tried to explain to my psychiatrist that antipsychotics really fuck me up and to ask for lithium only but they never accommodate, I've reached the point where I just say lie and say I take them while only taking the lithium in reality, because if I admit my anti psychotics refusal they usually drop me as a patient.

desu I think people like me are just kept around to function as a cash cow for big pharma, anti psychotics are their most expensive and profitable kind of meds they sell.

You sound like me, only I was prescribed that for schizophrenia, a diagnosis I vehemently refuted but due to being a 5150 I didn't have much say in the matter. At first it was a cocktail of drugs I don't even recall, then Seroquel, then generic Zyprexa. I loathe these mind killing poisons. Pharma is absolutely a scam when it comes to psychiatric issues, the goal is merely to sedate, it has no therapeutic properties. In my opinion I'm much worse off than before them but because it turns you into a nonthreatening zombie, that's considered improvement.
