This needs to stop eventually. People get banned every day for these rediculous reasons and there isn't anything we can do about it.

There needs to be better user-mod interaction. Posters should be able to appeal a ban any length, or even report a mod for abuse. Every ban should be made public beyond a hidden page on the site that nobody ever goes to. Mods should be ENCOURAGED to post with their tripcodes on.

THIS is how we fix 4chan. Not by removing boards, not by limiting posts, but by actually encouraging discussion between the users and the people who are in control of said users. There is no reason why mods should be figures hidden in the dark, all it does is make them easier to distrust and hate.
