They don't want to be "big" like 4chan. Obviously one post a day or slower isn't good, but no one wants 4chan's massive speed and awful community.

Futaba has no such cult of personality, unless you count the hidden boards which have a default posting name other than "nameless". Granted, Futaba is pretty niche, and has a userbase smaller than some of 4chan's boards.
