What's your opinion on /v/ having better moderation than

sometimes mods on /v/ ban those kind of threads because they're technically requests, can't say the same about the /a/ thread

Honestly, it's not too surprising. Video games require more involvement to enjoy, so the people on /v/ are a little more likely to report stupid garbage (as long as it's obvious enough). Just like movies and TV, anime is simply more casual.
