I'm pretty sure Rapeape is the one that really controls 4chan at this point and that's his favorite board (same with swaglord). It's also the "money maker" with loads of idiots viewing and clicking ads and giving the place media exposure to bring in more idiots for ad revenue.

I've said this before. While it was once a different story, 4chan has fallen on darker times. It's stale. We've seen it all before by now, /b/ is but a distant memory. /pol/ is the thing because of the current climate of the internet, and has the most appeal to bring in new blood and fresh content. There's really no other forum that is no holds barred when it comes to political matters, and it's attractive. It's smart from a marketing perspective and this idea doesn't elude team 4chan.

No, Hiro. That is what a MANAGER and SYSADMIN are for.
Hiro is used to being an owner and a manager, not an admin. Moot served as a manager, admin, and sysadmin to an extent. Hiro probably didnt look into moot's habits on running the site too much, or he did and just doesnt want to talk to users.
Also, I dont think he should be saying stuff about servers. He doesnt do that either, as far as I know. Not to mention the times he's broken things when trying to.

I wish Hiro would talk more. He clearly understands us and knows the difference between /qa/ whining and actual concerns, unless a mod is taking care of these things under his name.
But then again, Hiro is putting a lot of malicious ads on the site and probably isnt interested in to community at all. Maybe that's why moot picked him in the first place. Maybe it's best 4chan's owner NOT be invested in the community because it can cause conflict. Maybe moot thought it was worth it to keep the site up.

I dont know why this is a surprise, /pol/ and 4chan is the only place that wont insta-ban you for saying bad things about Jews. I actually consider it a benefit. It scares retards off. It's not like gore and furry porn do the trick anymore.
