I can't say I do anything similar, although I keep my computer on. Some people say it's better for the computer to put it in sleep mode and some say it's better to leave it completely on...

I leave my computer on to seed my torrents.

I leave my computer on to leech my torrents, I never seed >:)

I only leave it on to seed torrents, however before I sleep I often involuntarily imagine entire 4chan threads in my head, not quite sure why.
