Because muh board culture. Don't you realize, silly newfag, that declaring something to be board culture makes it immune to any and all rules?

why should a private company be transparent about their payments?
Swaglord/Invisibro is the mod of /tv/ as we all know. And its well suspected he gets paid on the side to allow these to stay up.
>>1432829
there are no board specific mods, swaglord just happens to browse that one the most

And he happens to work in a data analyzing company for advertisers. This is part of his job, even if he denies it.
I love this retard
He comes here to complain about his /pol/ threads getting deleted and gets furious when the other shitposting threads don't get deleted because they aren't reported as often.

Every thread on /tv/ is an advertising thread, because it advertises some movie or TV show.
If i make a thread about Nolan's new movie Dunkirk, i am advertising for the movie.
>>1433008
This explains why only janitor positions are given away to anons. The moderators are actually businessmen

Technically yes, but at least if you "advertised" for a movie on /tv/ then it would actually be appropriate to some degree, given the topic and name of the board. You understand the difference between a guy making videos on youtube and professionally produced movies and films, right? /tv/ is not about youtube, no matter how hard people want to try to force it there.
