Recently i finally acquired a room for myself after 7 years of living (and sleeping) in the living room. Those years were quite suffering as i had a lot of trouble sleeping, i was feeling very unsafe, and all the people that could constantly see what i was doing on my computer was very unsettling and resulted in a lot of auto-censoring (refraining from doing things i'd like to do like watching anime or such). I didn't have much room for my belongings (see that white furniture in the background? That's the only thing i had to store my belongings) and i would often find it in a messed up state when waking up as people would at time search inside of it for money or such. Everytime i would wake up i would be very worried that my computer would be damaged or my belongings stolen or broken, as both have happened before. Now i made myself a very cozy place and my bed is very comfortable! I also watch a lot of anime and movies now because it's very comfortable to do so on the big screen. I can put my CD boxes outside of the big box i use to store everything as now no one risks touching or breaking them, and i have a lot of room to store all of my stuff so it's not as messy as it was before. It makes me very happy!

In this picture you can see some mess on the left and right, that's the leftovers from the previous owner of that room. Everything from my bed to the window i consider it mine, the rest technically is too but i can't make use of the extra space in the room (i'm occupying only 40% of it) and i really don't want to bother trying to fix the mess it is in right now because there really is a lot, lot, lot of stuff in there and i can't just empty it all in the trash since it still belongs to the previous owner

It doesn't look like so but the space between the bed on the right and the small monitor is pretty big so in the future i could push the monitor (and the chest it's standing on) further to stick to the bed and put a third screen on my case if i want

Wow it makes me happy to know that you've found some place for yourself, I was in your shoes too just recently. I had to sleep in the living room and couldn't do anything on my pc like watching anime for the same reasons.
