Why is /qa/ so fucking boring?

We literally never do anything but post inane threads day after day to no end. What is even the point?
>>
>>1418534
Everyone just gave up
Shitposters always outnumber good posters
>>
are you the real one?
>>
>>1418534
It's because you're still here. You kill the mood.
>>
It's boring because I haven't created any of my sugoi threads recently due to the 4chan x bug.

Probably because you don't post more often. We love you Trevor.
>>
>>1418534
I've been making less threads lately, sorry.
>>
>>1418559
What bug?
>>
>>1418625
It says the image is corrupt whenever I try to start a thread.
>>
people started funposting on /jp/ and warosu again and therefore dedicating less time to this board
>>
>>1418632
That doesn't stop you from posting.
Also the fix is

>>
Why do people invest all this time in manual bumping?
You're trying to do a job that's best done by programmers and instead of using a logical algorithm to decide when, you instead use a manual and emotionally driven process.
Why not, you know... respond to some threads or make new ones?

You make me want to replace all of you with chatbots and necro high ranking threads directly from the archive.
>>
>>1418635
Oh, thanks, that's nice to know. I'll make some threads later.

Nobody is forcing you to post here when all your friends are on da mero...
>>
>>1418638
Some manual bumping is necessary, especially during spam floods. Bots are not a long-term solution because eventually they will get blocked (I would hope). But I agree, when people have time to contribute, they should do so. And they should avoid bumping a thread that hasn't seen contributions in a while unless they plan to immediately contribute to it.
>>
Since you guys are obviously uncomfortable with the catalog not being non stop cycled then fine. I'll cycle it for you.
I even updated my bump script to fix it's reactiveness,
>>
Stop posting. Start thinking.
>>
>>1418646
Why not just cycle it every few days? What's the justification for nonstop? Cycling can kill good threads prematurely because you drove it to the bottom of page 10 before you were going to bump it, and then somebody made a thread. This is especially so if you don't prioritize the good threads over the shitty ones. I hope you're at least deleting the bumps.

So much cancer in just one little thread.
>>
In fact there's little justification for cycling at all. All the frogposters do is spam, everyone hides the threads, it's not disruptive other than pushing threads down the catalog, and cycling makes that worse.
>>
Yes there is zero justification in cycling, but there are some OCD 'tards in this group who need to be dealt with.
>>
Basically. Unless either these OCD /qa/ members learn to deal with spam or someone deals with the spam then there will be friction
>>
Nah, cancer should not be allowed to settle in. Keep the raiders occupied, don't give them room to breathe. They have no stakes here and I do, so I can and will keep doing it as long as necessary.
>>
I guess it's time to become a frogposter.
>>
Do you see what you're doing though?
What are people going to respond to if you're constantly obsessing over the raiders?

If you consider yourself to be a valuable contributor to /qa/ and you're doing the menial labor of digging up posts from page 10, then it's wasted effort.
Like, I see you're thinking of /qa/ as a team that has to accomplish something, but you're trying to do it all yourself. If you have a vision you need followers.
>>
>>1418701
Like, I'm pretty sure I know who you are and you're honestly doing a disservice by not hiding the spam and convincing others to deal with it.
>>
>>1418699
Good riddance.
>>1418701
>>1418707
You're making this more complicated than it actually is. I don't post in their threads or make threads complaining about them, and I hide all their garbage. But I also understand that it's not "trolling" anymore if you have to put in an amount of effort equal to or greater than the people you're supposed to be trolling. Who do you think I am?
>>
Weeaboos are scum
>>
>>1418701
You are the raiders.

>>1418707
You are the spammers.

Go back to your spinoffs, both of you.

Discord shitter detected.
>>
>>1418534
Why are you so many avatarfags rolled into one, autist?
>>
>>1418534
Because the regulars are so tired of board wars and spam they only post to tell people to fuck off, basically.
>>
>>1419197
/qa/ and even all of 4chan needs janitors and mods that won't sit down and passively roll with the horseshit the masses drag in. We need fresh people who will simply not tolerate the truly inane garbage that has no place on a website for adults.
>>
>>1418655
Nice recursion.
>>
>>1419261
What we need is someone in charge that is actually familiar with 4chan and not transplants from faggot sites that think they know what they're doing because it's a rule. Most of the "epic" moments on 4chan involve bending or disregarding them, but tell anonymous janny his rulebook means nothing and the old mod team cries themselves to sleep at night and watch them hit you with yet another predictable robotic stock response designed to minimize legal responsibility. That's the public face of 4chan today, afraid to stick it's neck out unless it's behind closed doors. Hiro should be wise enough to circumvent his staff shortcomings, but overall this is a shameful display.
>>
>>1419276
The loss of innocence is what made the internet worse.
>>
>>1419281
Possibly.
>>
I remember when threads would last for months on /qa/ without anyone bumping them. The troll that linked /qa/ on /pol/ won; the damage is irreversible.
>>
>>1419975
>I remember when threads would last for months on /qa/ without anyone bumping them

I don't remember this. The only threads that I saw lasting for months were the GR15 ones that were necrobumped all the time by bronies.
>>
>>1418553
This is correct. Anime shitters have shat all over this board.

I only fuck men, dingus.

Nobody on 4chan is straight.

in that case: go fuck as many men as possible
