I joined in as it was beneficial to what I was doing. Basically closing pool on ylyl threads to try and cutback on the influx of niggers and children we were seeing at the time.
And these stupid fucks would spam the thread for me. Was a great break.

I came back to /b/ after i left in early 08. The state of the joint appalled me.
There used to be many creative threads, but now it's all regular porn and ylyl. I figured that cutting off the lulz would cause enough boredom, that the instant gratification fags would leave. Something needs to be done to clean up /b/.
From what I can gather the event of segregating /mlp/ is what made things to normie there. As many creators of OC, were also horsefuckers.
To relive any sensation of early /b/. you has to go to the pony board.
I've missed a lot of goings on. So there's a lot on conjecture on my part.

Yes, that's fairly obvious. I do see the usual suspect oldfags from time to time. But for the most part it's newfag cancer central.

The major thing lacking is participation. Everything is a screenshot, or a repost now. Even tho that have access free image manipulation software. And a wealth of resources for creativity.
I hear gamergate really fucked things up here. But I wasn't privy to any of that.

My base remedy is to get normalshit porn back to their designated boards. And a mod of Snacks proportions to create a ban wave wiping out shitposters, le upboats, and reposters for a month.
I was here when just shortening the word picture was a major issue about quality of posts. So things are probably much worse to myself, than most other users at this time.

Yes, chanology 2.0 for sure. /v/ still hasn't recovered and likely never will. It's up to debate whether /pol/ is considered chanology 3.0 or just an extension of GG. Either way it's shit, obviously.
