If Gellar Field is so powerful it can keep daemons away in the Warp, how come the Imperium never came up with a smaller version of it that works in the Materium? You know, like personal shields that would make you completely immune to daemons and psykers?
And it if can't be reduced to personal shield levels, why not at least put a Gellar Field on Terra on that hole daemons are invading from?
Unfortunately I don't know enough to answer this question but I just want to say 40k lore is cool as fuck.
It's called untouchables, anon.

But those are super rare, its like one in a billion. Gellar Fields are something every warp capable ship has, so it should be mass producable.
maybe gellar fields are only good at forcing the state of an area to be different than what's around it, so the equivalent machine in the materium would be the creation of a bubble of the immaterium

The Gellar Field basically creates a small pocket of reality/materium in the Warp. Using it in the materium wouldn't achieve anything, because it does nothing to repel daemons that are already capable of somehow crossing into the materium. All it does is prevent people/starships from being directly exposed to the Warp.
