The filler arcs constisted of kagome wants to to go through the well and have a SoL arc or miroku wants to use his black hole hand but the bees!!! oh man the bees!
Then we would argue whether or not shippo was a boy or a girl until there was a bath episode and you could see shippo's boobies (turns out they were not boobies because they showed his man nipples instead).

The story wasn't that good but the setting, designs, and the ost were amazing. The final arc at least wraps most of the story pretty well and i still think fondly of it even if it's probably just nostalgia.

This thread actually makes me feel a little. I'd seen other anime before it but Inuyasha was the first anime I ever watched that hooked me enough to where I actually carved out time to watch it and obsessively waited for new episodes. I even went out and bought most of it on DVD. If I had never watched this show I would likely have never gotten seriously into anime and my life would probably have followed a whole different trajectory.

I found the story to be pretty decent in the first 26 or so episodes, but it did go down the shitter pretty fast. I agree with you on the rest though, the design, setting and music were great.
