Yeah, my favorites are LLS, EoSD and PBC.

Yes, it's EoSD. The last thing I did was 1cc'ing EoSD in lunatic before quitting because I realized the game just made me angry.

Don't start with th6 "embodiment of the scalet devil".
The game needs to be patched because ZUN was a noob at windows game design.

In terms of fun combined with ease of difficulty you would want to play TH10, TH7 or TH8.

Th10 gives you unlimited continues and has the best art and music.
Th7 is fun gameplay
Th8 seems to be what the community calls the easiest of them.

I still wouldn't recommend it for beginners. Honestly, no Touhou game is easy. But Imperishable Night is a game that actually lets you see the ending even if you play it on easy mode.

Hitbox patch. I think it is good for newer players to use, but once you have a few 1ccs you shouldn't need to use it.

My favorite TouHou installment is called "Undertale" it is the best TouHou game.

PCB because it's the first I managed to 1CC in normal and hard mode.
EoSD and SA are my second and third favorites, respectively.

There seems to be a fair amount of new Touhou players, just not on /qa/. But who knows if they will actually stick around and do some scoring.

l finally burnt out after working on a category at about a couple hours a day for almost a year. And a friend of mine is in a similar situation. The grind just doesn't feel worth it anymore, especially at the slow rate that I was improving.

Do you guys use a keyboard or a pad to play? I've been playing with a keyboard until now but I've recently taken a liking to using my Playstation controller. It's certainly more comfortable than the 360 one.

Played only EoSD and PCB.

Got my first and second 1cc yesterday, PCB on normal with ReimuA and SakuyaA. Not much to brag about but I'm happy because playing every day for the last few weeks finally paid off.

Ignore the people suggesting using a keyboard. A flight stick gives you the best control and is well worth it to get. I personally use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro that I picked up from a thrift store.

I really liked ULiL just because of the story that was more consistent and solid than any touhou games. Though I'm not saying that other touhou games have a bad story, just that there's more lore than story in the other games. I also like MS for the extra stage and SA for the general ambiance.
