THOU ARE IGNORANT, THAT IS A REPUBLICAN MYTH!! REBUTTED

>Monarchies are un-democratic!
Not true. Actually, most monarchies in the world today are more democratic than most republics in the world. Further, in most republics (even the United States) the President is not directly elected by the people anyway. However, being democratic is not necessarily a good thing. Benevolent leaders and bloodthirsty dictators have both come to power through democracy.

>Monarchies are too expensive!
Not true, not by a long shot. Some monarchs (such as the Prince of Liechtenstein) cost the public nothing at all. In the United Kingdom, the money the Queen grants the government from the Crown Estates is considerably more than the allowance she receives from the Civil List, so Britain effectively makes money off the monarchy. Republics often spend more on their presidents, past presidents and first families than monarchies do on their royal houses. Many countries share a monarch and pay nothing and monarchies do not have the constant, massive expense of elections and political campaigns for the top job.

Hereditary monarchy just isn’t fair!
How can any system for determining national leadership be absolutely fair? It hardly seems fair that one person should receive the top job simply because he or she is more popular. Surely the correct criteria should be how qualified a person is rather than if they are good at making speeches, more photogenic or being more gifted at graft and deceit. In a monarchy the top job goes to someone trained from birth to fill that role. In a republic, even under the best circumstances, an elected president will take half their term learning to do the job and the other half campaigning to retain it; hardly a model of efficiency. Hereditary succession seems much more “fair” than granting power to those able to swindle enough money and promise enough favors to the powerful to obtain the highest office in the land.

IGNORE US REPUBLICANS. IT IS AN ANTI-EUROPEAN IDEOLOGY. IGNORE LEFTIST US HERETIC SHITPOSTERS.

POLITICAL COMPASS = TRASH

UNITED STATES = ANTI EUROPE.
SHE IS THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN
THE GREATEST CANCER THIS WORLD HAS EVER SEEN. REPUBLICANISM HAS KILLED MORE PEOPLE THAN ANY MONARCH OF THE LAST 2000 YEARS.
IT IS THE IDEOLOGY OF DEATH THE SPAWN AND SEED OF SATAN THE ANTI CHRIST.

THE PANCREATOR HESUS IOSIS CHRISTUS IS THE FIRST KING AND ALL EUROPEAN KINGS ARE DESCENDANTS FROM THE HOLY PANCREATOR DO NOT FALL FOR THE SATANIC RUBBLE LIE THAT IS THE UNITED LEFTIST REBELLIOUS STATES OF TREATORMERICA

>Republics bring progress, monarchies only oppressed.
Historical fact says otherwise. Time and time again history has shown that the end of monarchy makes things worse for a country, not better. In France it resulted in the “Reign of Terror” that saw tens of thousands of people get their heads chopped off. In Russia, the loss of the monarchy allowed the Bolsheviks to take power who then created the Soviet Union which spread oppression around the world and murdered millions of people. In China the result was a chaotic period of warlord rule followed by the bloodiest civil war in human history and then a communist dictatorship that took the lives of 60 million people. The end of monarchy in Germany and Austria resulted in divided republics that allowed Adolf Hitler to come to power, devastate the continent and butcher 9 million people. The fall of the Shah of Iran allowed a radical theocracy to take power that has spread terrorism around the world and brutally oppressed its own people. These are only a few of the examples that could be cited and the facts are inarguable.

>Monarchies must be bad or else there would be more of them!
That argument could only begin to make sense if most monarchies had fallen because of a conscious decision by the whole people to see them end. This has certainly not been the case. Most monarchies have fallen because of brute force exerted by a powerful, motivated minority or because their country was defeated in war and their state collapsed. How about looking at how people live? The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development annually puts out a list of the best countries to live in based on a variety of factors and monarchies invariably outrank republics by far. Last year, 2012, is a typical case with 8 out of the top 10 best countries to live in being monarchies; the only republics to make the top 10 were the United States and Switzerland. If republics are so great, shouldn’t their people be living better lives than those in monarchies?

>Monarchs are so set apart, they cannot represent ordinary people.
Actually, that is precisely why they can represent everyone in a way no politician ever could. President Hollande of France is an agnostic socialist, so how can he truly represent those French who are Catholic or capitalists? President Napolitano of Italy was a long-time communist, which is certainly not representative of most Italians. President Obama of the US, a liberal from Hawaii, cannot have much in common with a conservative from South Carolina. Yet, a monarch, because they are set apart, can represent everyone because they are not from any particular group.

Sure if you like being a hippy, not sure how you'd support yourself so long as you find a way not to starve or something.

Sure, if you're an honourable citizen of the Imperia Roma and patriotic too and stuff.

Sure if you got your head in the business 24/7 so that you don't end up in the streets in a society that values money a lot and if you don't mind the SIN chip or something...

>Monarchy is an archaic throwback! It’s simply out of date!
Certainly monarchy is an ancient institution as it developed naturally from the dawn of time and the growth of human civilizations. However, democracy and republicanism is just as archaic. The Greek city-states of ancient times tried direct democracy and found it of very limited value, lasting only so long as people found out they could vote themselves the property of others. Republicanism was tried on a large-scale by the ancient Romans and yet they too found that it caused too many divisions, factions and civil wars before they decided a monarchy was preferable. The oldest republic in the world today was founded in 301 AD. How out of date is that?

>What about cruel monarchs like Nero or Attila the Hun? Surely no benefits could be worth risking leaders like that!
Actually, far more people have been butchered in wars or massacred by those in power since the start of the revolutionary period than in all history previously. Nero or Attila the Hun were unsavory characters but nowhere near as bad as republican monsters like Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Mao Zedong or Pol Pot. It has only been in the post-revolutionary era of mass politics and political ideologies that governments have taken to killing their own people in huge numbers. Nero was cruel to his own family and later persecuted Christians who were still a tiny minority and Attila the Hun, as ruthless as he was toward his enemies, ruled his own people well from what we know and with justice. No monarch ever wiped out as many of their own people as the communist dictators of the Twentieth Century, all of whom did so in the name of “the people” and “fairness”.

THE COMMUNIST REVOLUTION IS DIRECTLY THE SISTER OF THE FRENCH REVOLUTION !!! US REPUBLICANISM IS THE BROTHER OF COMMUNISM. BOTH THE USSR AND THE USA WORKED TOGETHER TO COLLAPSE EUROPEAN MONARCHIES. MONARCHY IS THE GOVERNMENT OF GOD THE LINE OF THE PANCREATOR. REPUBLICANISM IS THE SEED OF SATAN AND AIMS TO BRING DOWN ORDER AND CREATE REBELLION AND PROMOTE INDIVIDUALISM. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LIES. MONARCHY IS A 2000 YEAR OLD EUROPEAN INSTUTITION. THE REASON WHY THE WEST IS COLLAPSING IS DUE TO THE USA FORCING US TO REMOVE OUR CHRISTIAN COLONIES BECAUSE THEY ARE REPUBLICAN LEFTIST THRASH !!! The reason why everybody was against Zimmerman was because the mainstream media needed views to be increased. And so, they started race baiting to keep people hooked into keeping up with the news.

Zimmerman would always be hated as long as there is private ownership of the media. Not an argument that we should make it public, but it's an argument that we shouldn't rely on community led lynching to deliver justice

If I were to go along with your game:
>Nobody can force me to keep a license plate on my car/And I can't just remove it or just destroy the plate's numbers to such an extent that makes it unrecognizable?
1) There would be plenty of people whose interest it is for you to have a license plate.
2) The manufacturer or dealer could make it a pain in the ass to take off.
3) Alternatives to license plates could be developed.

Your game is a classic example of trying to debunk anarcho-capitalism with hypotheticals that keep getting more and more ridicules.

>The reason why everybody was against Zimmerman was because the mainstream media needed views to be increased. And so, they started race baiting to keep people hooked into keeping up with the news.

Capitalism is only individualistic for the capitalists.

Everybody else is ground into one grey gelatinous mass. Culture, tradition, and identity are stripped away to facilitate the desires of their potential employers.

It's happening right now, as hundreds of languages disappear due to third-world villagers forced to move to crowded, shit-smeared slums in the millions if they want to survive.

>The mainstream media is influenced by communists and the government who wouldn't be problems because the government would be abolished and leftists would be physically removed.
You didn't rebutt my claim at all. It's financially more appealing for any type of media to race bait to increase viewer count. More viewers = more money. Hence it stands that in a perfect free market, the media would control narratives to over hype a particular event. It doesn't even matter if it's race baiting. It could be "Mr. Greenway is a witch." It could be on the air 24/7 for months, with no proof whatsoever.

Also consumption needs to drastically be reduced to reduce environmental damage. Re-use and recycle. Not producing useless crap that breaks after 1 year

India and China have practically zero restrictions on foreign businesses, because their governments rely entirely on this investment. In China, as long as you pay the government the bribes they need, you can do whatever the fuck you want to your Chinese workers.

Do you honestly believe that even looser labor laws would improve the miserable lives of the masses of those countries?

>"Bad people are going to find ways to do bad things."
That is true, but the market will find ways to counter evil. That was the point. Do I have an answer every little thing that could possibly happen? No. The point is that the market can make necessary adjustments. For example, to deal with you putting duck tape over your license plate, a for-hire police officer hired by the road company can pull you over. Whatever the problem is, the market can sort it out.

>You didn't rebutt my claim at all. It's financially more appealing for any type of media to race bait to increase viewer count.
I did rebut your claim. You physically remove democrats and communists and race baiting goes with them.
>More viewers = more money. Hence it stands that in a perfect free market, the media would control narratives to over hype a particular event.
Thats why websites like Breitbard, Drudge, and Infowars are doing so well. People realize the media is lying and there is a demand for an alternative.

And about consumption:
The thing is that a general consumption tax targets not only environmentally harmful things, it targets all sorts of things like foods technology and services.
Also, consumption has to be made more sustainable, but that's what the pretty damn high environmental subsidies are for.

>get $20K basic income
This can go 2 ways:

1) Since everyone (all workers or all poor people or whoever) gets $20K the landlord jacks up rent and the grocery store jacks prices and so on and so forth. Then people want $40K and the same thing happens. Then people want price controls. Then businesses go under. Then the government nationalizes the economy (communism).

2) Spend $20K on crack, hookers, and Drake.

Expecting people to be educated is prone to failure, look at what's happening when we have universal suffrage. Democracy is only good when used in a stance of republics. Anon, these people were born poor and will die poor. Their rural ancestors probably had even more access to food, because their lives were directly died to agriculture.

The good thing about capitalist industrialization is that it does give a minority of the people some method of social mobility, but at the same time locks the vast majority in their destitution. Without any substantial labor protections, the people have no more means of becoming wealthier than their peasant grandparents. Invariably, a free market economy leads to wages dropping to the barest minimum workers can be paid without starving to death. In countries with populations as massive as India, companies can even sometimes afford starving workers, because there will always be more hungry brown children to take over if one dies.

How can the descendant of sweatshop workers become an engineer if he has to leave school at age 12 to join the factory?

The West didn't transition to a service economy organically. Industrial workers and their unions lobbied hard for better wages, which allowed them to get an education and seek work in more humane industries. But when workers are powerless, as in India and in China, there's no hope for this to happen. And when countries like India have populations of poor people growing far too fast for the economy to provide for, per capita income actually decreases, as the poor overwhelmingly outnumber everybody else.

>That is true, but the market will find ways to counter evil.
And once more, there is going to be a free market to evil. And evil, assuming no government intervention, is going to out weigh justice because evil just needs to exist for it to be profitable. Justice is not always profitable. And justice is also limited because you would not have the tools created by the government. (Regulation on license plates, for example)
>I did rebut your claim. You physically remove

if you raise the minimum income everyone receives to 20k, the poorest people will have 20k more to spend, but the richest will still have ~500k to spend, the 20k aren't going to make much difference.
Yes the prices would be raised but only marginally, as the bulk of the economic buying potential will not come from 10% of the populace earning 20k more per year, but the other 90% who earn a median of ~50k or so a year.

though actually.. no.
The whole idea of pensions doesn't make any sense when you're planning for a populace of potentially infinite lifespans with infinite working years thanks to minduploads and whatnot which could be a reality rather sooner than later.

And until it isn't, i guess the unemployed will have to subside on a proportionally lower income as a larger part of the population (elderly people) will be unemployed.
Unemployment benefits are not designed to make you live like a king anyway as is the case in a lot of places.
Food being a state financed thing you'll always have enough to eat.
So the only thing the minimum income is for is to never ever have to worry about a roof above your head, and to get clothes and basic consumer electronics to be able to participate in modern life as often as a person needs to replace those things, but that's it.

You are painting the price increase as a colossal huge thing.
They won't increase that much, since
a) The basic minimum income will only be enough to afford the most basic things without doing some reeeeally clever saving.
So if the corporations increase their prices they will be making less of a profit than before
b) Even in the whole simplified supply and demand scheme, you wouldn't have a price increase to the double, because the purchasing power would not rise to the double.
10% of people having 10k more income (because 20k is frankly ludicrous) is a minimal increase when compared to 90% having a median of 50k.

This the prices would only be increasing a tiny bit if at all.
Granted, that increase might hurt the middle class, but they would be benefiting from the food, healthcare and education subsidies, and from most social programs being aimed at them, while the highest profit gains (corporate and capital) would be more heavily taxed to finance it.
Leaving the superrich with a considerably fewer millions in income, but still considerably more than they would need to maintain and even grow their empires of wealth.

You literally didn't understand any of the things i wrote.
They can't reduce the purchasing power of people to the level they previously had if these people didn't have purchasing power in the first place.
Also you're implying a static economy wherein the population can't grow and get more prosperous at the same time, because if 10 people are born and they each get middle class purchasing power, the market is going to alter prices to compensate and make them have zero purchasing power.

And even if the market tried to compensate, it would not be a DOUBLING of the prices, to necessitate a doubling of the UBI, since the total purchasing power didn't double.

Literally all the things you said are in my post you replied to.
