He's actually a good person. He bought a 70 year old drug (Daraprim) used to treat a rare infection called Toxoplasmosis. Toxoplasmosis affects aprox 2000 people a year therefore it wasn't a 'profitable' prospect to create a better drug to treat the condition. Daraprim is a horrible drug that can cause as much harm as good, but it's the only option to those with toxoplasmosis.
Shkreli bought the drug in order to raise the price to create revenue to do research to create a better treatment for those with toxoplasmosis. Daraprim is not used to treat HIV and Shkreli can only sell it in the USA.
The only ones paying full price for the medicine are hospitals, large corporations and insurance companies. Also over 70% of the medication distributed is either free or $1 a pill.

The reason that 4chan even exists, despite all the shit that's been associated with it, is because ultimately it's been a hobby for moot and hiro.

4chan, at least in the way we know it, can never exist as a profit driven platform. It never has been for it's existence, if anything it's put moot in some difficult positions and he stuck with it despite the personal and financial burden.

If we have a person who barely understands 4chan culture and has such a vile attitude because of his enormous success that won't even understand a concept such as lurking moar take over the site, I don't believe it work out in the end for this platform that we congregate on.

Now I could be wrong and he could just be a massive troll and has been browsing for years, in which case that's a bit better. I'm sure a lot of people have some ideas about this site and have been browsing for a while, but those ideas likely would be detrimental to the welfare of 4chan.
