Trump is likely to add more debt, but it is very unlikely that he'd add more than Clinton.

If you look at where the majority of the debt is coming from, it's financing wars and domestic entitlement programs.
Despite the rhetoric, Trump is not nearly the warhawk that Clinton is. One of the few things he's been consistent on is that we need less of a military presence around the world, and need to only be fighting people who directly attack us, and then wipe them out in the most efficient manner. Clinton is likely to keep going on military adventures around the world designed for destabilization and changing management of resources, which is far more costly in terms of time and money.
Trump also isn't part of the party that prefers to buy votes, so the entitlement programs are not likely to increase (and may even decrease). The only support the Republicans like to buy is generally through business subsidies, but Trump has regularly stood against much of that too, so we'd likely save some cash on business welfare as well (and we certainly would not from a bought-out politician like HRC).

The only financial risk we're likely to see from Trump is from tax cuts. However, his proposed protectionist reform, immigration reform, etc., is likely to end up with more Americans in more jobs, which means a larger tax base and fewer people who need to rely on government handouts.

The truth is that it would be extremely hard for Trump to put us into a budget surplus, given the current state of the Government, and so he will likely put is into more debt. But there is every reason to think he will reduce our government expenditures drastically, enough so to offset much of the reduced income.

Clinton is likely to keep the massive state expenses, and keep pushing out middle-class jobs while claiming to want to bleed the rich... but being too reliant on the rich class to actually close the loopholes they all rely on. Clinton's going to cost us more.

The only major economic problem I forsee being a potential problem with Trump is that he isn't likely to do all the corrupt shit necessary to hold up the Petrodollar system... which needs to be taken down in the long run, but if it collapses without a replacement way to deal with all the meaningless federal reserve notes stashed around the world to buy oil (or to store wealth in oil-producing countries), the US is in major risk of drastic inflation. Gonna be tough to deal with for the average person.

But it is a terribly corrupt system that is enslaving our descendants to the banks and is killing countless people around the world, so it should come down. Trump's gonna need to surround himself with a lot of people who know how the established system works, so I give him a moderate chance that there will be a plan to deal with it.
