I don't know, but two possible explanations would be, firstly, that, the test assigns different values that are co-dependent on each other to questions in similar groups of questions that measure the mode of thinking (which is pretty unlikely I'd say considering all the questions seemed homogenous in that they exclusively measured abstract spatial abilities) and yours were so bizarre the equation couldn't cut anything else, or the test considers your location and somehow uses that as a variable through relatively shifting your results accordingly to that of said region (well you're in the US so thats also unlikely)

The last (real, proctored) IQ test I took I was both drunk and high and still scored between 98 and 99th percentile.

That means I have this girl clearly beaten. And since the folks that wright these tests are mostly around her range or lower, scores higher than that really aren't valid anyway. The test has zero credibility. It's way too easy to get a score over 120. It's way too easy to guess the right answer. You're not punished for making a guess and your chance of guessing the right answer on most questions is better than 1/6 because you can eliminate the answers that obviously don't fit.

And how is that "memory" able to be tested in this environment? Learning and memorizing are different things, the memory you speak of is effectively the ability to learn, which is not the ability to, for example, memorize a sequence of numbers, which is what such a test would do.
You're also way off on computers. They are basically memory machines. Any abstract intelligence you're assigning them is simulated through memory, which is what they have way more capacity of than us, and that simulation is programmed by someone, it can't be acquired by itself, even in the context of machine learning and so on.

On such a small scale test, I believe hobbies might even have an influence. As someone who played football and continues to watch and coach, I do look for patterns in my spare time alot. I use math at work figurig angles and heckimg to make sure i stay square and work off grid lines.
