Hey /pol/, I need some help. Next week I am to partake in a debate where I will be pro-trump. I am all for making america great again, but I feel I am not informed well enough to stump the other debaters. Is there any /pol/acks who could help me with some pro-trump arguments and possibly answers to the most common anti-trump arguments (Trump is racist, KKK endorsed, mexico wall etc.)

There will be lefties and SJW's on campus, so I can't just go saying shill at anyone who debates against me. The arguments has to be leftie-sized red-pills, if you catch my drift.

Muslim isn't a race.
>>
>racist
He is opposed to illegal immigration, not Mexicans exclusively, and has said this countless times if they would ever actually listen to what he says. Also Islam is not a race, so it can't be racist. Additionally, he's said he would pause Muslim immigration until people can be properly vetted so we know they aren't terror suspects.

>KKK endorsed
He's disavowed them multiple times and wasn't even endorsed by a current member, the guy was a former member and is no longer associated. Hillary Clinton has been endorsed by a current high ranking member and has not been promoted to disavow, showing the obvious media bias.

>Mexico wall
Walls work, ask China and Israel - the illegal Mexican population decimates the economy and depressed wages for low income American citizens in addition to putting them out of jobs. Census data show that the jobs that are thought of as "illegal immigrant" work are still majority done by American citizens. If they are people that only care about "white peoples jobs in offices" then they are simply being racist to immigrants.

Islam is a belief, not a race.

I figure too at least the way he means Mexican or wherever, it's less like "You are of Mexican ancestry" and more like "You're a citizen of Mexico who is entering our country without permission." So, in this context Mexican is not really a race as well so much as a nationality.

You could point to the diversity of his support base.

Wrong.
That is not the answer you're going for, even if it's a truthful one.
The correct answer would be, "Donald Trump has never said that he wants to prevent all Muslims from entering united states. What Donald Trump has said is that he wishes to place a temporary halt to Muslim migration into America, which means that any Muslims who live in US, or have citizenship will be free to come and go as usual."
If they insist that this is still a racist policy, just point them out this.
"Which country destabilized the middle-east? USA. Which country is the main target of the muslim extremists? USA. Which country is at this very moment conducting military operations in Iraq and Syria? USA. Which country is allied Israel, the number 1 enemy of every single Muslim nation in the middle-east? USA."
"All Donald Trump is asking is for a temporary halt to muslim immigration until they can put in place a proper protocol to prevent people who are from countries that are outright hostile to US from entering. This action is not unconstitutional and has a historical precedent when USA prevented Japanese and German immigrants from entering during WW2."

Defending trump on immigration:

To start, we need to agree that the U.S. does not have to allow people to immigrate into the country. It isn't something that we owe people. It's our country, and we get to decide who is allowed to become a citizen.
^This is an important premise that you need to get them to agree on.

With that in mind, we should think about the benifits and drawbacks of letting particular groups in. We should only let people into the country if we have a good reason to believe that doing so will benefit the country. If it won't, we shouldn't do it.
An open mexican border (as it is now) removes our ability to make informed decisions about who can come in.
Illegal immigrants are a group of people that knowingly deny us our right to decide on this issue. In absence of this evaluation, they should be removed.

If there's a significant portion of the muslim popluation that wants to kill us and destroy our society, we shouldn't let them in. We should first find a way to separate those that want to kill us, from those that don't. If we can't, it doesn't make sense to let them in. We would be knowingly and willingly importing our own destruction. This is an insane course of action.
>>
>>67775505

>temporary ban on muslims until they can 100% be sure there's no terrorist in between them.

This is a safety precaution anyone with a functioning mind would do.
Cologne and Paris are good examples of that.

>he's racist

The man has never said anything racist, prove me wrong.

>he hates mexicans

No, he wants to deport illegal immigrants, since mexico and the current borders can't stop them from getting there, a wall will be built.
Mexicans coming is fine as long as its done legally.

>but borders should not exist!

That won't work. You're debating from an underdog position, which means that proving your opponent wrong is not enough.
You must also prove yourself right.
By displaying that your opponent's argument is poorly constructed by mockery, all you're doing is proving that he's a poor debater, you're not advancing your own cause at all.

Your goal when debating, is to take a single step forward every single time towards convincing the audience of your viewpoints, not to convince them that the guy in front of you is a baboon.
If he is a baboon, he'll do that for you.
If he isn't a baboon, all they see is you resulting in attacks on character and defamation tactics, which leaves a bad taste in their mouth.

The wall

Keeps illegal immigrants out which is not only a crime problem but an economic problem. Not only do illegal immigrants raise crime rates, rape rates, but they also take jobs from US citizens, do not pay taxes, and send the money they earn back to their families in Latin America bleeding the American economy dry.

Muslims: Muslim values are not compatible with the US and sharia law zones are unamerican. Every country that accepts Muslims in mass numbers gets the same problems. Higher crime rates, higher rape rates (Sweden is +500% rapes and 99% are from "foreign" men)

If people get outraged this maybe tell them a story about what life is like for a Christian Slave to a Muslim family in Libya. And yes in Muslim countries you have Christians serving Muslim families. The girl said she had to work with her shirt off and be the "first woman" to each of the Muslim families sons. Ask the women in the class what they think of that.

Trade deals: Trump can fix trade deals with all these countries that are ripping us off. Just listen to his rallies to understand his point. He's an expert negotiator.

If they mention his bankruptcies say the company just used his name and he was one of many shareholders he was not the sole owner of the company.

>>
>>67775505
HERE ARE YOUR TALKING POINTS

1. Trump supports New Deal policies, when he says MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN he is talking about a return to the policies of FDR.

2. Trump is not racist, this is a misperception. Trump is generally against mass immigration for the same reasons that Lenin and many other famous socialists opposed it: It is predatory towards the American worker.

3. Trump is a WORKING CLASS candidate, the first in decades for the GOP.

4. The Democratic party is NO LONGER the working class party. Bill Clinton signed NAFTA, Obama is pushing TPP, the globalists control both parties.

5. Globalization, as it is taking place, is NOT an inevitability, it is a controlled process that is being guided by business elites who seek to maximize profits by opening world markets and destroying the working class in the west in order to create a slave class in the rest.

6. Trump is not any more fascist than FDR was (keep in mind FDR put people in concentration camps) and very little that he says is actually radical from an American perspective. Muslims have indeed been banned from entering the US before (Jimmy Carter banned Shiites for a few months), Undocumented Mexican migrants have been deported en masse before (Eisenhower) and the border wall has been proposed for a long time.

7. The other anti-globalization candidate, Bernie Sanders, is systemically barred from office. The DNC's superdelegate rules have prevented him from being nominated, period. Without Trump there is no real choice on economic issues in the US election, at best you get pro-globalization Ted verses pro-globalization Hillary.
>>
He is the only candidate who is not influenced by special interest.

Bernie may be, but he's a socialist.

Money in politics has wiped democracy out in post WW2 America, and if they aren't going to create legislation to bar money in politics, then a vote for Trump would be the ultimate fuck you to those that are influenced by special interest.

Billions have been poured into fighting Trump by those special interests.

The correct respond would be somewhere between these lines.
"Donald Trump said that he wants to deport ILLEGAL immigrants from US. Anybody who has citizenship or is otherwise staying in the United States legally will have to worry about being deported."
"The wall's purpose is not to prevent Mexican immigrants from entering, it is to make sure they enter legally. This means that the people who are affiliated with the organized crime that the mexicans fleed from the first place will be denied entry, making latino communities a safer place to be."
"Furthermore, illegal immigration creates a problem for latinos where they're expected to work for next to nothing, because the illegals do not pay any taxes. By getting their papers in order, you'll be getting rid of dishonest business practices and guaranteeing them a far more humane living enviroment."

If you want to engage in healthy dialogue or debate simply state each one of Trumps major policies, how he hopes to achieve it, and why it would be a positive change.

>Legal Immigration only

This would entail deporting roughly 11 million people, over some period of time. If these people are working it will create job openings, if they are not working then they are a drain on the economy and will clear up resources. It may not be morally correct to deport families with roots in this country. But it is unlawful to enter the country by running a border, and we rule by law not by morality. There is no moral police, or court of moral opinion. Petition to change the law if you so desire, but do not call someone who wants to uphold it racist. Immigration laws exist to protect the natural citizens of a nation, in the case of North America, it's Southern Border faces an entire continent of people who want to escape to a better life, those choosing to break the American laws are acting immorally by taking the rightful spot of someone who would try to follow the legal process.

Do you want doctors and educated people into your country? Or criminals who have already broken one law coming in. There is a distinction between people, fundamentally we are not all equal, we are judged by our actions, and not all actions are equal.

>Abortion

Trump is pro-life, but will keep Planned Parenthood because they do provide other health services to women. This is a position no other Republican candidate has taken.

>Gun Control
Extent concealed carry to every state. Uphold the American Constitution.

Gun violence and murder rates are highest in the most gun controlled American cities. If people acquire guns illegally they are likely to continue to use them illegally and irresponsibly.

Trump wants to focus his Foreign Policy on trade. Which is a revolutionary change after 50 years of American Imperialism and aggression around the world. You could also mention he's funding his own campaign, unlike the other candidates, so once in office he's not in debt to the banking, medical industry, weapon industry, etc. It's important to mention these industries, find as many examples as you can find and refer to those as the rich elite, the 1%, who have no interest but their own. The lefties you face will already be biased against that. Then point out that he can govern autonomously, without any strings pulled behind the scenes, so there's no need for him to back down on his campaign promises, unlike the other candidates who promise one thing but once in office will do what their financiers tell them to. He's too rich to be bribed. Don't mention it's mostly mr. Shekelstein doing the pulling behind the scenes. No memes either.

Another thing might be to look at how mr. Trump handles a debate. Unapologetic and without anger.

You may not convince many during the debate if they are too deeply invested in leftist ideology, but you may sow some seeds in their minds that will develop later.
>>
>>67779262
I've got the answer for that one.
To Quote Donald Trump himself: "I want them to get out, but I want them to come back legally."
"Any Green Card holder in US can petition for their family members to be allowed into US to live in their residence."
"United States Economy at it's current state employs a tremendous amount of illegal immigrants and there is very little worry that Donald Trump would kick those people out for good as it would have a tremendously negative impact on the economy as quite a lot of the workforce would suddenly disappear and as the left wing likes to quite often say "They do jobs nobody else wants to do.""

Of course, we all know that the jobs they do, quite a lot of people would actually like to do if they were given proper compensation for it, but we don't need to mention that.

Why are we letting refugees from the same countries that we have had conflicts in where the main inhibiter of destroying the enemy was the inability to distinguish friend from foe and that now have training camps to teach people to kill us. >Gun Control
If they ask about this, just tell them that United States of America is not just a country, it's a democratic federation states and as such, there is always the risk that the highest population states with the most delegates will band up and start exploiting the smaller states by imposing unfair taxes.

Every single state in US is more or less the size of an European country or larger and there's 50 of them.
The wealthy states could bully the smaller states to submission and establish a tyranny of the majority, in which a landmass that equals the size of a country does not have the right to decide their own laws and suffers unfair taxation to keep them poor while the rich states get richer off their backs.

This is why it's absolutely necessary for the 2nd amendment to exist, which means every state has the right to a well armed and well regulated militia, which guarantees their ability to resist occupation from not only foreign powers, but also from the federal army.
To remove this right from US citizens is the equivalent of EU banning the presence of any armed forces, with the exception of the EU's own task force which only answers to EU.

You can also make the point that because US is so huge, there are many states in which the population density is very low, in which case it's necessary to own a gun because the police may take an hour to arrive and if the people don't have methods to defend themselves, criminals can just go robbing from house to house because as long as they leave no witnesses, there's no chance of getting caught as the police won't arrive in time and there are no pictures.

I think there already are sanctions that are imposed on companies using illegal immigrants as labour.

The problem is, the big companies subvert this by hiring contractors.
These contractors then contracts and organizes several construction companies to get your job done.
These individual companies hire the illegals.

As far as I'm aware, the contractors and the big companies are pretty safe while the small companies just file for bankruptcy and start another company.

With economies and HDIs to match. Hell, nothing highlights how much we are basically a federation of similar countries than the clusterfuck political process going on right now with all the different processes and rules in each State.

I dont understand why democrats latch onto this like its the biggest sign of Trump being unfit. The dude is a literal billionaire, one or two ventures going under is all part of the game. For each investment that failed, he's got dozens more that didnt.

State that a country must always be more powerful than a corporation or else it devolves into tyranny and trump would do his part to make a strong State

I think people need to be reminded and, perhaps, enlightened a bit, about how Trump is using and playing the media with experience born skill; the things he says that have been making headlines week after week since last June are not by mistake. His speeches are often characterized as rambling but when I see some of the more controversial things (like the original "they're rapists...") I think it is well calculated on his part, almost as if he had that particular sentence planned out word for word, knowing that that specific bit would attract a lot of attention to him immediately right off the bat. I don't think Trump is trying to appeal to every single person's individual intelligence, since, as verified by Dr Ben Carson, Trump behind the scenes is more cerebral than he might seem to people who turn him into a caricature based entirely on his rally speeches, which are meant to be engaging and entertaining. As they say, Trump is a great showman, his events tap into the same crowd spirit as sports events. If he is to win votes, he has to appeal to voters who probably don't spend all that much time researching things, who will be more thrilled seeing a character like "public Trump" (as per Carson's 'Two Trump' theory) dominate every headline with charisma, humor, balls. Trump has to somehow appeal to millions of different kinds of people, of different levels of intelligence, etc and he must have reasoned that his over the top persona would win over more people than the highly intelligent mind in private.

No, you're not the only one. Most blacks are locked into perpetual servitude to the state right now. Their children grow up fatherless and unsuccessful, the mothers popping children out for more welfare money, and the children grow up to vote for Democrats and gibs because that's what they've been taught by their momma and the liberal public schooling. It's a vicious cycle.

Their low Avg IQ's and violent natures don't help either. They're leeches on society and the Democrats are all too happy to oblige because it's free votes. And it works, seeing as 90%+ vote Democrat.

Don't. Trump never bothers to be good at debates (on an informative level, he kills it in the personality department). Just use tricks like the double bind and compound yes/no questions that make the person unsure if they should answer one way or the other.

Also, NEVER look at your opponent, make them react, make them look at YOU. Don't even bother glancing their way and have this look of disbelief on your face every time they speak. Don't interrupt, just let your audience SEE how much you think the opposition is lying. Also, when something negative is said about your argument, take it in stride and make a joke, and then follow up with a strong statement. People can't reconcile such polar opposites of their emotions fast enough, so when you get them to laugh, they'll almost HAVE to accept what you say next. Also, use a lot of repetition.

Trump never bothers to study for his debates, so why should you? Do what Trump does and you'll win.

Lucky for you Norway, most leftist liberals are severely uninformed, so you really don't have to be that smart to dismantle everything they say. There's basically a handful of talking points that these kids will throw out there:

>Trump is Hitler
He couldn't be further from Hitler. Hitler wants a socialist society and wanted to exterminate an entire group of people and have zero immigration. Trump wants people of all color to help make America great and encourage a free market.

>Trump is racist
He's not racist at all. He employs thousands of minorities and simply wants to stop violent, illegal criminals from entering the US unchecked. This is simply a precaution to save American lives.

>He'll just want war
He's anti foreign war. He was against the Iraq war from the start. All he wants to do is make America an economic powerhouse. He's not interested in wars.

>He's endorse by the KKK
Obama and Hillary both attended the funeral of a known KKK affiliate. Grow up. The KKK is irrelevant in the US and they always pop up around election time. They are a nonissue.

by this time you'll have already won and even if they're still standing in front of you, they'll probably just loop back around and try to reword one of the 4 talking points again.

Seeing as their government is practically run by the drug cartels, it wouldn't be surprising.

He just wants to starve them out by closing the borders, filling the tunnels, etc.

Mexico is nothing without us. We import most of what they export, we send them aid, etc. If we turned our attention to the cartels, which are far more dangerous and close to home than ISIS, we'd stomp them out anyhow

even if it happened, it would be a political war. building the wall would be 95% of the war. the other 5% would be hiccups with border patrol. there would be zero American casualties unlike the middle east disaster.

Trump tax plan:

Mr. Trump’s tax plan would substantially lower individual income taxes and the corporate income tax and eliminate a number of complex features in the current tax code.
Basically remember this:
*Those making up to $30,000 will pay 1 percent.
* Income from $30,000 to $100,000 results in a flat 5 percent.
* $100,000 to $1 million income will be taxed at 10 percent.
* On $1 million or above will be taxed 15 percent.
^^^"Tax those dirty 1% more, am i right senpai?"

Reducing the number of illegals:
"illegal immigrants is not a particular race, its 2016 you shouldn't label an entire group of people like that"

It costs the tax payer SIGNIFICANTLY LESS to deport those who have cheated true immigrants who have earned the right to join America than to pay for the lives of illegals and the crime rates that carry over with them. Trump enforces LEGAL immigration as it is the corner stone of the American dream he wishes to revitalize.

"we shouldn't be paying for those who are cheating minorities a right to a better life they choose to strive for, am I right senpai?"

Muslims:

Trump never said to deport Muslim immigrants who have came over legally with proper documentation. Hes nothing like Jimmy Carter, you know, the face of Democratic good deeds who forced over 50,000 Iranians during an overseas hostage crisis to report to immigration centers for visa checks forcing over 15,000 to be deported and stopped ALL Iranian people from coming into the country for a period until the situation at hand was settled. Trump simply wants the protection of American lives while still employing LEGAL immigration, he doesnt want to close our borders but only wishes to enforce them.

see the last lib-tart reasoning for this too but add "wow democrats arent really about our libertarian ways huh senpai?"

Trump is racist:

Unfortunately Trump is not racist he employs a WIDE variety of ethnicity and has never said anything racist on account.
