Its for the best, it would make the fall into totally decadence in the west complete. I mean, it would happen eventually, and no matter what the modern civilization is going downhill, might as well make it fast, for we can enjoy it.
Everyone hates him. Politics never favors the sitting President's party a third time after 8 years in power. It's happened approximately twice in America history, both a very, very, very long time ago. No Dem is going to win the election for President in 2016
I honestly think it's a completely open race at this point. Hilary is too hated to win a general election. She's got too much baggage that the Conservative media can exploit and are currently exploiting.
Now generally I think the GOP (at least in it's current form) is a dying party, the demographics are just not with them, it's a matter of time before they morph into something unrecognizable or simply drift into irrelevancy like the Whigs of old.
That being said, I think the GOP has a great chance of winning this election , simply because the democratic field is so weak (and hated because Obama). The DNC was banking on Hill-dog for the last 6 years and now they are only beginning to realize how fucked they are. And now it's arguably too late to do anything about it. A lot of groundwork has to go into making a candidate seem like a legitimate option. That just hasn't happened for the Dems.
The GOP only has to nominate a half way sane candidate to run away with this one. My money is on Jeb Bush. He's just the type that the GOP always nominates. White, Safe and experienced.
>>42470089 It will probably be a Repub becuase Obama has left a bad taste in the mouths of even the most liberal people (except college kids). Dems have been left with a bad name and Shillary turns out to be a sneaky murderer.
Not so much "hated," as "universally recognized as being stupider than Sarah Palin."
That's not even an insult, there is literally no other way to interpret Hillary's policies and actions during her terms as Senator and in the State Department. Everything she did that Palin was opposed to turned out to be wrong, from supporting the Muslim Brotherhood against Musharaaf to nixing the rescue operation in Benghazi to supporting ISIS against Assad to letting Putin declare the terms of peace in Syria and Crimea.
Even the e-mail thing is biting her on the ass harder than the media will ever admit.
>>42472901 >The GOP only has to nominate a half way sane candidate to run away with this one. My money is on Jeb Bush. He's just the type that the GOP always nominates. White, Safe and experienced. >TLDR: Bush 3 Mother fuckers
We are fucked, honestly they would have a better chance of reviving the party with a Walker/Paul ticket of some kind.
>>42473169 I don't think it's stupidity so much as arrogance. She just feels she is above the law because what she is doing is "right."
Also I'm not fond of the bitch either but the Benghazi and "ISIS" stories are complete BS imo. No sense in making shit up, she has plenty of real skeletons in her closet. Everything from Whitewater to Servergate.
Yeah the GOP has a habit of nominating the worst possible candidate, they might again. LOL I can't believe they were seriously considering Romney Pt. 3 for a while.
I think a Walker candidacy would be a disaster as well though. He's too tea party and he'd have labor foaming at the mouth (don't underestimate unions they still have lots of pull). He's not the kind of guy who will attract moderates.
Paul on the other hand would be a brilliant move. He's got right wing street cred and it even like by many liberals and independents. I don't think he has a prayer of being nominated though. His foreign policy is too isolationist. The neocons and defense contractors will torpedo his candidacy like his father's.
GARY JOHNSON 2016. He did do a major push last election. Got one million votes... Expecting more this year. Libertarians will replace GOP by 2035. The Dems will start falling like the GOP is around 2025. The Green Party might replace them but I doubt it. Probably a whole new party will rise out of the Dem's ashes.
>>42473523 Gary Johnson is a joke. He has no money. He has no influential backers. Yeah I like the guy be his candidacy is akin to Ron Paul's or Ralph Naders'. He'll mostly serve as a protest vote in the primaries.
Vote for me. I will cut welfare to those able to work, I will create infrastructure jobs and employ people. Once that is settled, I will set up a board of trusted people to handle things and then go to the woods where I will build a cabin. The cabin will have Internet so I can still talk to people when they need it. I will not use anything I don't absolutely need to use and will pay for whatever out of my own salary.
When I am seriously needed I will go back to the White House or wherever, then once it is concluded and well, I will return to the woods.
nigga, "muh social justice" is all the rage. he will win because he's not an old white man, he's young, and nobody likes hillary. Fucking latin countries arent voting in american elections, who the fuck cares
>>42473748 He is too foreign for the Republican base, and too much of a aristocrat for the Latin (mostly Mexican) population who resent people like him. He is fucked in the cunt and the arse. The US are opening up with Cuba, there will be a stamped eof industry to get in there - billions of dollars. He is a direct barrier to that.
In summary he is a nigger to Latins, his own party and to business. He has zero hope whatsoever.
Yeah dude I live in solid GOP territory. They definitely do not like latinos. Not all of them, but enough. Especially the older guys (the one's with the money and influence).
I've always found Rubio to be an extremely underwhelming speaker. He's just young and sort of handsome. Just look at his hearings. He usually gets his ass handed to him by the likes of John Kerry. He'll get eaten alive in debates.
Scroll down to find the info. The Tea Party died off because of retarded conservatives. Anyways you can see that they dropped off big time after 1980 election but have been gaining back more steam each year. Even shows steady growth.
This is happening to a lot of states. Great growth, etc. Shit man Sean Haugh ran for US senate in NC and he got around 3.6% of the vote and we had the highest mid term turnout ever. Even with a bigger voter base he still gained ground.
>>42474419 Look at the demographics. It's not happening tomorrow but it's happening. The GOP has been able to make gains in the house mostly because of Gerrymandering and Dems can't be bothered to vote in a midterm.
The republicans will nominate another "It's his turn, He paid his dues" turd, think Dole, McCain, Romney. Hillary is done, Warren will not run, Biden is a fool. Paul is considered a weirdo by the mainstream, Cruz is not eligible, Rubio is a Cuban most Latinos hate Cubans, Perry is a joke, and nobody but the insiders wants another Bush. The Democrats will run a younger white man, to counter the half black fatigue, this time not a member of congress but a governor, make the people think of Camelot again. Probably it will be O'Malley from Maryland, he will have a female running mate, probably a veteran of Iraq/Afghanistan and a Latina of Mexican descent, parents were illegals, she worked here way up, first in college, blah, blah, blah, she will have darker skin and a very Hispanic name, bonus points if she is a lesbian. The Democrat will make the most of a new recession, "gonna help the little guy, look at all those rich with your money", they will sweep in and last one term when we fall into a "Real" depression or a major epidemic real or created or perhaps a limited war with a major power, Russia or China, probably a tactical nuke or two. Then the Republicans will sweep back in, but not the Republicans we all know and love but, Eisenhower, T. Roosevelt, Lincoln Republicans, Progressive Republicans. They will control the government for 50 years or so just how they held it from Lincoln to Taft. Most Americans care about Friday night, The Weekend, Party, Beer, Tits, Football, My Team, Selfies, Reality TV, and Dope. You get what you deserve. No one pays attention to anything that is down the road, only what is right in front of them, by time they look up from their phone it is too late.
You're probably right about O'Malley though Webb has a chance too. But I'm not sure about the VP. Both the Dems and the GOP have had a female VP before. Doing that again makes it look like women are only good enough for the second spot. There will be charges of a glass ceiling. They'd be better off not having a woman on the ticket at all if she can't be in the top spot.
The Republicans won't do it but if they were to nominate someone like Nikki Haley to head their ticket, it would rack up the female vote. Haley isn't insane like Palin or Bachmann. She doesn't have baggage like Rice (who probably isn't interested anyway). It would solidify the relationship between curryskins and the GOP, which is a growing minority group with money. I can't see the GOP actually doing it. But a Dem ticket with two white men versus a GOP ticket with an Indian woman and an elder statesman VP (if the GOP could manage to find one) would make for an incredibly interesting race. It certainly would upset the straight ticket voters.
