>>140561169 because music can influence your thoughts and emotions, if someone puts out a catchy song about dressing like sluts and partying all the time and it has a nice rhythm to it people will get it stuck in their heads which will basically force them to repeat the lyrics over and over and they will eventually start to be influenced by it.
People who want any chance at being famous must tow the political line. I try not to look at the twitter feed of my favorite artists because if they're some bernie cuck or with HER or some shit it will ruin it every time I hear their music.
>>140562910 It kind of has the same effect on me but it's lessened overtime. I know that some of my favorite artists are trump hating losers who really don't have any idea of what's going on in the world because they're so absorbed in their own through money or drugs but their music still resonates with me. The non political shit anyway
>>140561367 This. There was about a billion articles screaming about how metal was "too white and male". It was a shaming campaign, basically. But when shaming didn't work, they move on to Stage 2, which is infiltration/shoehorning. Then the usual tactics will begin, where clubs will sign contracts and agree to only host ideologically-aligned musicians, locking out anyone deemed making "hate music" or some other thought-terminating cliche. That's how they'll take over the whole genre.
>>140561169 Because leftist musicians went to art school, where they drive in the SJW shit way harder than other schools (so that the artists aren't tempted to push boundaries and be edgy, because art is one of the ways cultural movements are started and anti leftist art could hurt (((them))) too much if people start to like it). However, that's just people in the industry. With a lot of new rappers who got famous on soundcloud, they are definitely not leftist, some even networking with people like sam hyde over social media. These people became famous completely on their own, and are showing industry musicians that all the label shit is BS and artists don't have to appease (((them))) to be successful and make money anymore, which is a good thing.
>>140561169 It's like you're asking why was so much propaganda produced by the Bulgarian People's Republic's Ministry of Propaganda. Do you really honestly think some creator makes a product, lots if consumers want to buy it, and the kindly middleman, out of the goodness of his heart, agrees to let the creator rent a studio or printing press? Do you honestly thnk that no compelling or interesting stories critical of Israel or China exist, and if any did, Hollywood would be happy to film and distribute them?
>>140561169 Metal remains vastly far-right. Only ultra-famous band (Metallica for example) are forced by (((lawyers))) to regularly publish statement that can be understood as left wing, even though for example Metallica's lead singer is an outspoken classical libertarian.
But outside of that, name ONE famous metal band that is unequivocally acknowledged as left wing.
>>140561169 Oh and fyi: >real talk >be honest >serious question And anything like that = spam. Learn to speak English. Clarity in language precedes clarity in morality. The legacy media wants you to talk like a valley girl so you will not be able to think critically.
>>140565003 Anarchism is not left wing nor right wing since both advocate for a different kind of government.
The only legit anarchists were the early punks and some unpublicized metalheads of today.
What you're talking about is merely some antifa-tier bullshit; they want government out of their societal rights (DUDE WEED; Let me abort an 8 months foetus and so on) but they'll call for the state as soon as some basic anarcho-capitalism takes place.
>>140564784 Anthrax seems pretty lefty Among the Living was very globalist and anti-nationalsim, with anti-nazi and pro-native american songs Maybe it was just the early 90s idealistic liberalism, but its was really childish and disappointing because the music was pretty good
>>140566396 Perhaps The concept of the Title song of the album is that theres gonna be another Hitler and we need to kill him because Hitler is bad Even if they are trying to be apolitical, they are still falling for and promoting the same post-war lies that ruined everything
>>140561169 Me and my friends make music, and we're not leftists. It's up to you to give us a listen. I'd prefer some really scathing comments. https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=UUuNKPGuETjmDdBX07EwbRAQ
It's all types of music. My dad wanted to Todd Rundgren tickets then TR went off on some tangent about how conservatives shouldn't even come to his shows so we just got my dad something else for his bday.
The youth are all idealists because they've never made money, so they've never been taxed. I run a record label and worked in the music industry for ten plus years. The only other non-libbys I've ever heard of are Tom Hazlemeyer, Danzig and Johnny Ramone
>>140563949 Facts are racist. Nigger and mexican music is shit, they talk about shit that means nothing to them, there is no feeling and its audio tuned garbage since the few actual singers who could sing are dead or old or outed themselves as not following the hivemind. (((They))) decide what the public can listen to.
>>140567972 >>140568100 And right before Biafra had his "Nazi Punks Fuck Off!" faggotry The Ramones, fronted by a Jew, went to Germany and sang "I'm a Nazi baby, I'm a Nazi, yes I am" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36vKj3ugHXk
>>140561169 music overall is a positive thing that supposed to bring people together, now if you make people believe that positive things are the globalist agenda like egalitrianism and communism or whatever, the musicians will be alligned with those views. Although actual musicians would try to disassosciate themsleves from politics because its a fucking form of art not propaganda. Some "musicians" also play the audience by writing sided lyrics about events that happen around the globe to reach out to their target audience or overall more audience. While its accaptable that music can be used to criticize wars and other stuff like metallica did back in the day but if you start burning flags in your concerts and alienate yourself from a specific group of people with your music , then you are just trash
>>140568100 Jello was more anti everyone back in the day, Nazi Punks Fuck Off was more about jock types originally, but he's totally bought into the current SJW narrative. It's kinda disappointing he was once more capable of more nuanced thinking.
Its because of how music scenes work. Similar to art scenes in this regard. Allow me to explain:
A scene is more like a big mass of people congregating in a circle. There are various rings of course, the further out tends to be the lesser well known. In the center of the circle, lies the stars. These are the individuals in which, the media/producers/etc. shine a light on. These are the big money makers or famous/infamous etc. Everyone outside of the spotlight, is striving to drive towards that center.
Now, each musical genre has its own scene in a regard - but one fundamental thing doesn't really change - and that's largely who's in charge of the media/producers etc. So what you'll typically see is that certain values or aesthetics or patterns are rewarded more than others. The mass then tends to conform around this. Sure some will choose to remain independent from this influence, but those who stray from the path to the center, will not reap near the same rewards.
There are other aspects for example that play into this, based on each scene. Rock or Punk typically coalesces around anti-authoritarianism or rebellion. Rap will tend more towards gangs or drugs etc.
Another factor that plays into this, is who you're marketing it too. Some rural guy probably isn't gonna be as into rap based around being an inner city black in a gang. He can't relate to it. Likewise, some chick cramming to get through college doesn't want to hear something like Marty Robins.
A large part of this will be in marketing though. And certain ideas will be more easy to market, or more easier to manage in the media. So producers will tend to seek those out.
Now that said, leftwing groups such as Refuse Fascism, BAMN, BLM, Redneck Revolt/JBGC or Antifa all follow this model. Its basically a hallmark of leftist collective masses. At the center there will be a few, who gain privileges/receive funding and/or escapes retribution for their action. Everyone else is just trying to get to there.
>>140561367 This plus the chance for leftist Zionist paedophiles to have easy access to children. >Like the music goyim children? Come "back stage" a d you can meet your favourite star. Repeat ad nausiem
>>140569393 >The Sweet underrated band! Check out this hilarious "rock & roll medley" they did in front of a bunch of teeny boppers in 1973: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PYL2H9_tc0 4:36 "I looked at my watch, it was a quarter to 2. She said she won't, so I pissed up her earhole" 5:18 "I looked at my floor it was a quarter to watch, she wouldn't suck so I kicked her in the crotch"
>>140561169 for the same reason they attacked videogames and scifi anon. They need to control all the narrative, all of your thoughts, all of your dreams. Even your fantasy and artistic enjoyment cannot be different.
The even tried to go after Anime, but the ((())) fears the samurai.
>>140561169 Ironically enough women (female artists are usually SJW) are so adamant about having the same representation as artists when in reality many of the greatest painters, poets and composers were all MALE.
There are female pop stars who can't even write their own music. Sure, they perform it well but they don't write it. They hire a MALE to write the music for them.
And when women and liberals make art and music, it's always about "fighting back against the white patriarchy"
>>140561169 Unlike meme answers provided itt, the actual reason for music being predominately dominated by "leftist" types is because the psychology that encourages artistic creativity leads to one being idealistic and vulnerable to the zeitgeist, which today is radical leftism
>>140563774 Only nigger music I hate is rap and that stupid "NOW WATCH ME WHIP NOW WATCH ME NAE NAE" kind of music shit. It's so short lived. It's music that appeals to short attention spans. It's only enjoyable if you listen to it once for listening experience. Then it's over with.
And the fucking Ebonics. Why can't more blacks just speak regular English? I'm sure there are many. I've met many blacks that speak regular English but the Ebonic speaking ones attract more attention
>>140567972 I saw that shit happen( I'm old) it was all punk scene at first, Then some people converted to being skins. Then came SHARPS to fight the some of the other skins. I did see out of town, big, scary dudes recruiting people for the Nazi skin scene, I'm sure the SHARPS had sugar daddies too, just never saw them. This was in the 80's big midwestern city, crazy times.
>>140561169 art attracts liberals, and its because conservatives are total cucks obsessed with politics without creative minds or something, who gives a fuck, just create some shit niggers. The fucking alt-right or whatever is creating a cultural Renaissance and I'm loving it.
>>140574113 >The fucking alt-right or whatever is creating a cultural Renaissance and I'm loving it. Problem is alt-right art/music is made by a bunch of guys sitting by themselves in front of computers. There's nothing like the brotherhood of forming a band and rocking the fuck out.
>>140564784 Metallica right wing? Their old stuff is all anti-nuke, anti-wealth, anti-religion. God knows what they stand for now. Nowadays they're all fat balding yuppies churning out garbage & milking as much money as they can from their name. Their current bassist is a Mexican from LA and the lead guitarist is Filipino. I seriously doubt they're conservative
>>140574635 >Problem is alt-right art/music is made by a bunch of guys sitting by themselves in front of computers. There's nothing like the brotherhood of forming a band and rocking the fuck out.
I was talking more about Faceberg, Thermidor, TV-KWA, Caspermag/Fluland, Sam Hyde, Kantbot and his Autistic Mercury and many other twitters. Of course there is some interesting music going on too, but I'm not an expert on that. Check out all the websites I recommended, there's great stuff out there. >tfw trying to start a band with my senpai, but don't have a drummer
