Surprisingly no, I've gotten reception from fm radio even inside a closed microwave and I'm not quite sure why it happens.

Depending on the permittivity of a Faraday cage, different wavelengths of EM radiation will be able to penetrate it. Microwaves work for microwave radiation, but not for UV and Gamma, which is what we're dealing with.

The walls of the house, and even the plastic or glass door of the microwave will be enough to block UV, wouldn't they? Just like sunlight or arc flashes would be blocked by same.
Nothing anon can do about gamma tho.
