why did /pol/ meme drumpf into office instead of based libertarian pops?
>>140346954
Because individualism is for fags, and libertarianism is a childish ideology that will never work.

> every time a nation has gone to shit it's because of government overreach

Individualism is where it's at.

I still wonder why Trump never took him into his admin, I think it'd work well

Can you think of a system as complex as a government being significantly reduced in scale without destroying or crippling it?

Although based libertarian pops heart is most definitely in the right place, he didn't have the media exposure nor the persuasion skills to become President - we can only do so much.
That and the "doom paul" memes were more humorous and potent than the "it's happening" memes - so really we memed his loss more than we memed him winning.
Perhaps we had not yet learned the power of meme magic, the 4u plane crash near baine was when a lot of people really got a good handle of just what we are capable of.

>Trump has a greater persuasive ability then Ron
Get out of my face kid. Get a grip and fix your suspenders while your at it. DISGUSTING.

We tried Ron Paul in 2008 and 2012.
>>140349336
You might not like to hear it but it's true.
>>140349336
One is President and the other never lasted to the final round of election.
Ron just can't hang.

We honestly tried twice that I'm aware of. Probably 3 times though I wasn't here on 04. Trump brought a lot of money and celebrity to the table we never could have.

2012 could have been Paul's year if the RNC didn't change their delegate rules. Shit came back to bit them in the arse in 2016 though. Trump was the physical manifestation of unexpected consequences
