The whole point of China now is to prove the superiority of their shitty system. India with its democracy and pruralism starts in complete contrast to the Chinese system. The threat to China isn't the west, which they can spin as being the beneficiaries of imperialism. 2 third world countries, founded in complete different systems. If India succeeded, then that would do much more to destabilize China than anything else. They hate the fact that India is still one country and they are doing everything in their power to stop it. In the long run India is the better bet because India DOSENT reverse engineer shit, DOSENT Jew with the forigen companies and forms strategic partnerships. Its a freer society, and yes that includes shitting wherever the hell we want. Grown isn't fueled by government debt.

GDP is a meaningless measurement since it doesnt account for cost of living. purchasing power parity would be more illustrative.

Besides, the communists are great at showing things better than they are, the actual Rot of the system is only shown when the whole thing collapses like in the USSR. India, people can move freely, China you need visas to just get into the city. If you come to India, the poverty , the shit, the poo, the corruption is in your face, there is no mass deportation of the destitute like they did in Beijing during the Olympics, no fucking cannon firing into the air to make it rain so the city is cleaner. No tweeking of the stock market to show 8% growth. If there is a geo political threat to China, its India because an other Asian and third world country would do better than them just in institutions like common law, democracy, freedom etc. It fuels innovation and entrepreneurship. They just began their economic reforms in the 1980's as against India which started in the 1990. Democratic countries take longer and the process is more cumbersome, but when you do get to a decision, the basis of that decision is consensus. The Chinese lack this. Its been run by a bunch of technocrats and engineers who don't have the concensus and only five and fear to impose their will.
