Russia is in the economic sphere (not political) actually quite Libertarian, much more so than the West.
They have a 13% flat tax that applies to all, whether you are rich or poor, and many evade even this small tax.
With this comes almost no welfare and help from gov, so if you are biologically or psychologically not viable, you are bound to fail in the most miserable way imaginable.
It's highly eugenic compared to the dysgenic system we have for example in Austria.
I pay here 70% in taxes, only 30% of my income is left to me. We have an enormous welfare system, so these people are not only kept alive, they are helped to reproduce.
So you see lots of welfare recipients living off of welfare, having 5 or 6 children (mostly Muslims) and the most productive can't afford to have children themselves.

Also they are quite Libertarian when it comes to family relations, the Russian gov now wont step in anymore and take away children of families if the husband beats the wife/child in a moderate way.
I'm not saying that beating women is a good thing, but it's not the gov business to steal children as long as no ones life is threatened.

There are other spheres though where they are the opposite of Libertarian, for example politics.
But this is not only coming from the top of the gov, the people there are actually compared to us fiercely Nationalistic and constantly try to find out traitors and call for purges, that's something that is non existent in the West.

That's one of the many reasons why Putin is very much en vogue among the right wing in the West.

Studied in Moscow briefly, the cities are pretty decent, but holy fuck once you get outside the city people live in godforsaken 3rd world poverty and drug use is the worst I've ever seen.
