Anybody know what this symbol means? I drove past it and it looks potentially Jewish/Muslim but I can't find anything on it. Best photo I could get is a screen cap off of jewgle maps, and I didn't catch what the sign said when I passed it. A reverse image search didn't pull up anything interesting either. Does this look familiar to anybody here?

It's the arabic letter "nin" (I think) which is first letter of Nazarene in Arabic. ISIS is putting it on the outside of Christian households and Christian run stores in Mosul and other places.

Did even more research. So the symbol is the arabic letter for "n." Nasrani is arab for Christian. Looks like the letter "n" for nasrani is painted on the homes of Christians in Iraq in order to mark them for persecution.
Well the good thing is that I don't have muslims living nearby, was worried for a second there.

It's an Arabic character for N, pronounced as noon on its own.
From what I heard, the golden noon is used in solidarity with Christians persecuted by terrorist groups across Syria and Iraq.
