Redistributing resources mathematically does not increase the pool of resources. If A has 10 and B has 5, the total is 15 and if you take 2 from A and give 2 to B the total is still 15.

"Hoarding" is a complete meme. Putting your money in a bank still results in that money being lended out by banks. The only reason "hoarding" would even hurt people is because the government devalues the dollar through inflation. In the absence of this the market would just readjust, if there is less money in the economy because some asshat decided to bury it in his backyard, the value of everyone elses money would increase due to the law of supply and demand.
