Fuck i meant production but not jobs :D
>>
>>139737915
they'd be a lot higher if they weren't outsourced.
>>
>>139737915
why are games still 60 bucks even though theres digital distribution.
>>
Well production was Walmart-tier for years... now people want better goods. Duh
>>
>>139738074
because the money used to produce the game is now used to pay political minds to include additions to the game like feminism
>>
>>139737915
China's working class is slowly rising, they will be soon asking for workers rights and bigger salaries. I expect the production sites will go to another place as soon it's not profitable to outsource to china anymore. I'm betting on Africa. But it will take a while.

Just like they were before we started outsourcing in the 90's right?
Lying faggot piece of shit.

Because of inflation. It's on the Federal Reserve (a jewish-owned private company that singlehandedly controls the value of the american dollar)

fuck, it actually makes sense.
>>
>>139738359
thats my point ,only profits increased for corps, consumer as always left at the hole
>>
>>139738040
no they wouldn't be. prices are rising due to inflation thanks to the central bankers playing games with the money supply, in order to pretend prices arent rising the globalists shift production to shitworld countries so garbage products can be sold at garbage prices. this makes the goyim think things are fine/cheap because goyim are stupid.

if we sold products for their real price by producing them at home, prices would remain proportionately the same because workers would be paid a competitive wage to make those products to sell for profit.

globalism is all smoke and mirrors.
>>
>>139737915
(((INFLATION)))
>>
>>139737915

Tariffs, transfer-pricing, brand-prestige, profits. Take your pick.

>>139738074

Physical retailers would cry foul if the product was available for a significant discount online, especially seeing as they are relied upon for initial console sales. The industry has also decided that the ideal price point is what it is currently, so is not deviating from that.

This shit really pisses me off.
>digital distribution starts rolling out
>promised that this is the ideal future of gaming
>no need for physical production or retailers means that games can be sold with much less overhead
>despite this, game prices rise from 50 to 60 bucks on average.
>and you don't get any physical product or anything to go along with your purchase

I rarely buy games anymore for this reason, and on the off-chance that I do buy games, I'll only get physical copies. What's the fucking point if it costs just as much for the code itself as opposed to code + physical package? I like having things like manuals, cover art, etc. Of course, they're even skimping on that now too. Don't even get me started on those DVD cases that are made of the shittiest paper-thin plastic that barely holds together for a a day.
>>
>>139737915
I sell some pretty cheap products and about 50% of the cost people pay for it goes to shipping it.
>>
China will soon reach western standards of living soon. The next (I suppose current) oursourcing place will be South Asia and SEA.
Once those countries reach China's level, Africa will be the next place of outsourcing.
BUT this is dependent on how quickly automation goes. It will likely be the case that countries like India will be the last to be able to exploit their large, young workforce before robots replace them.
>>
>>139738040
Yeah, everything was so unfathomably expensive back in the 1960s. Nobody could afford any daily products because that american labor was just too expensive to be viable. And there were no restaurants or grocery stores because it's only possible to have those things with cheap illegal labor picking the orchards and doing the cooking in the back.

Our lives were infinitely tougher back then. Nobody could afford to buy a house or have children, and even the mere act of getting a half-decent job required you to go into 100k of debt and waste years of your life.
Oh, wait a minute, that's what it's like today. Really fucking makes me think.
>>
>>139737915
The person in charge is a greedy old fuck! Can you at least blame the right person? Abusing and taking advantage of the system so he can get richer quicker.
>>
>>139739430
wont automatisation completely replace slave labour ?
>>
>>139739169
>be chink
>buy african government
>set up factory in they country and make negros work there
>negros start bitching
>let them starve to death
>eventually they get on with it

chinks have the advantage of learning from mistakes of europeans. They will run the show in africa and there certainly wont be any emancipation there
>>
>>139738359
huh? dude, learn economics, you're a fool.
>>
>>139739590
Of course it will, but the question is when. China and other East Asian countries were fortunate to be able to finish most of its developed before automation. South Asia and SEA may just squeeze in, and Africa will be too late, so I predict that they will have to resort to selling commodities to sustain development

Prices on consumer goods are not rising.

Prices of food are not rising.

Housing, medical and education is increasing. If you live in country whose government provides these, your taxes are increasing.

Pic related. It's what happens when governments are involved with providing a service.
>>
>>139740425
Latin America is a mixed bag really. Though there are cheap and good labour pools (e.g. Mexico), there is a lot of instability and the ever present threat of another "pink tide" of socialism reemerging. Seems to be a thing among mulattoes and mestizos.
On the other hand, South Asia and SEA are somewhat more entrepreneurial. Uganda for example used to have a large South Asian population, and after Idi Amin expelled them, the economy collapsed to shit, a bit like in Zimbabwe, because they controlled 99% of businesses.
Even in places like Trinidad, there is a big difference between Indians (who came from peasants anyway) and the Africans, with most of the latter involved in gangs, unproductive activity etc
>>
>>139738492
Becsuse capitalism is supposed to benefit the elite more than anyone else.
The elite get 99% of the gains in capitalism while everyone else gets scraps. Most of the elite are just money lenders and leeches.
>>
>>139739514

Housing, medical and education were less regulated and cheaper then.

Consumer goods were more expensive. It is always government bullshit.
>>
>>139737915
Trickle down economics works and flows to the bottom of the economic pyramid first then flows up. Third world laborers are the bottom of the pyramid and their wages are increasing, which means that the cost to make a product is increasing too.

You can blame globalism for this.
>>
>>139738040

It would not be necessary to outsource without massive taxation
>>
>>139738074

Game quality has gone up drastically as tools improve

That and massive taxation on specialists and sales
>>
>>139741027

>game quality has gone up drastically

On what basis?
Certainly not in terms of gameplay content.
Certainly not in terms of getting a complete package, rather than piecemeal nickel and diming via DLC
Certainly not in terms of "not being a buggy piece of shit", because almost all games now are rushed to market half-completed and broken, and then fixed after the fact.
>>
>>139737915
My bet is rising taxes
>>
>>139738040
I've heard that it's because of inflation and DLCs and other shit is sold because people are too used that price
