If we were able to do that we'd probably take it even further. It wouldn't necessarily be a "race" thing.

We'd engineer kids to our liking by whatever standards we value:
Tall
Smart
Good looking
Athletic
Light or dark skin
Good demeanor
etc.

The possibilities are endless when we finally discover which genes control what and how to splice them together to form our ideal of the "perfect" human from the moment of conception.
