Imagine an alien race predicting that in the future our planet would produce life and intelligent life forms. Do everything they can to send a signal across the galexy before they are destroyed by god knows what. Do it selflessly so we do not succumb to the same fate. Able to send the signal and die knowing life will live on. Signal finally make it to the planet.
We don't know what to do with it because we let niggers into the space program.

Just iagine if it was an actual alien signal. Older than life in our planet.
Like, if it is a TV signal and we can decode it, we could see video recorded by aliens while our planet has empty oceans and barren land.
What if they kept transmitting for centuries? We counld see the entire history of some alien civ, including their soap operas and whatever, and they died billions of years ago. Quite spooky.
