Maybe if the retards in Romania actually understood Ceausescu's plan to get rid of foreign debt and didn't fucking KILL HIM in a CIA-backed coup literally a month after he managed to repay everything through a decade of severe austerity measures, and didn't agree to instating a puppet government that immediately took massive IMF loans again...

But no, now that they sold the entirety of infrastructure and industry built during Ceausescu's times for peanuts to foreigners, and have to repay ever-increasing loans and literally pay foreigners to use things they built with their own hands, and can't exploit their natural goods because they're foreigner-owned too, this is clearly much better.
