In my youth, I was generally an individualist, more leaning toward anarchic tendancies, because I was an edgy faggot teen who just didn't want to be told what to do. But I think the thing that truly set me down this route was my dad raised me to be proud of my German heritage (mom dad grandparents on both sides, as far as i know, were all German.)
